  1. It goes farther back than football last year ! Danny Parker made a statement in the news paper during baseball last year that one mans trash is another mans treasure ! Referring to a player leaving Schs and transferimg to Cascade . THis player left because he and his parents got into with the coach like they have every year since he was 11 yrs. old ! He was in the starting rotation when he quit, so the statement Mr. Danny Parker made was uncalle d for. THe problem really lies with him is is the sports editior for the Shelbyville Times Gazette, not the "Wartrace Times" Danny Parker just keeps stirring up everything between Cascade and Shelbyville. he needes to learn how to be a little more neutral. As far as his brother th ecoach he has done a fine job with his program. He may be over the top sometime , but you should expect this from a coach. As far as Cascade being better in sports the last 5 or 10 years , I am glad Trey is not my cpa if you can't count any better than that. Ya the last 2 years they have had a real good baseball team, football as well , Schs won baseball district in 06,and several times in the last 10 years ! There basketball has been great over the last ten years and iam talking about the boys team. Football has been really down over the last 4 years, don't know how they will fix it ! They are in one of toughest regions in the state !
  2. Emanuel Andrews @ Shelbyville is one of the best shooting guards in the state.
  3. I saw Clarksville play last night and they are not very good. If they play like they did last night they will lose my four or more touchdowns. If shelbyville had any defensive backs watsoever they would have won. They held number 8 to 34 yds. on 11 carries. HE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO JUST THROW UP RAINBOWS LIKE HE DID AGAINST SHELBYVILLE. Clarksville is no where close to as physical as Maplewood. Maplewoods line will absolutely dominate the game. I pick Maplewod by 21 plus!!!!!
  4. I haven't said anything negitive directly about Nick. If I had please feel free to point it out. If you think I am not a grownup, maybe you could send me an email and we could meet in person and see who the real grownup is !
  5. And the winner of the prize puzzle is ? Yes, hardhead11. I wondered how long it would take for the real truth to come out. Like Paul Harvey says" Now you know the rest of the story"
  6. Were do you people come up with all this crap ! I believe I'll ask Ms. Edwards myself if this is true. Coach Hardy had nothing to do with this. The only person that could change the status would be Mr. Embry. As for your previous post Nick didn't take anymore abuse than any other player on the team. Maybe because he couldn't take it anymore it's a good thing he's not eligible he might decide to quit your team as well.
  7. GOOD LUCK TO THE EAGLES ! KEEP PLAYING HARD AND GOOD THINGS WILL HAPPEN!
  8. He was mislead, I know that for sure! I am sure not jealous of Cascade. I hope they have a great season, I just take offense to Cascade 11 refering to Nick wanting to play for a winning progam.
  9. Nck and his parents knew exactly what was going to happen but were mislead by someone at Cascade. I am quite sure it was not Coach Parker. Kenny is class individual. As far as girls basketbal scouts you must not know much about Hillsboro or Maplewood football, there will be plenty of scouts at most of Shelbyville's games. Nick would of had plenty of chances to showcase his skills. Shelbyville has been down the last three years. Cascade 11 why don't you post career playoff records for the past 20 years of both schools OR REGION OR DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS.
  10. Nick could have followed his teammates to a division one a scholarship! Jared Frazier at Tennessee, Jonathon White at Vanderbilt, Barry Stewart at Miss.State, Twilley at East Tennessee State. Not to mention all the young ladies playing basketball and soccer . I am not sure if anyone from Cascade has every recieved a scholarship from division one A !
  11. Nick could have showed his talent in region 5-4A. There will lots of scouts to watch Hillsboro, Maplewood, Stratford, Kenwood. Shelbyville has a much more competitve team this season. It is a shame Nick could have not stuck it out, after all he has played with the same kids since he was 6 years old!
  12. Shelbyville's Mr.Embry isn't going to send any letter on the behalf of Nick Batts to the TSSAA. Nick transfered stating the reason was to play football for Cascade. Because of that he is ineligible this season. Nick and his parents were all told this by the Shelbyville staff prior to his transfer. If he wanted to play football he should have stayed at Shelbyville!
  13. Shelbyville wins !!! 35 to 28. I thought you had a little more knowledge of the teams in the region.
  14. Cascade should win, if they get there new transfer Nick Batts eligible from Shelbyville they won't lose a game! He has a ton of speed and should look great at the single A level.
  15. Shelbyville will win if they play as hard as they did in week 0 ! GO EAGLES !!!!
