No Matt Thurman was considering walking on at UT but decided against it. Chase Rogers was also looking at Rhodes but also decided to take a year off. George Childress and Edward Hammonds might be looking to play at TSU after a year. As of today it is only Pat Lock at Austin Peay and Karl Rogers at the University of the South from Tullahoma class. 2006

After months of careful deliberation Tullahoma High's basketball and football captain Karl Rogers decides to play football for the University of the South in the upcoming 2006-2007 season. With a long resume of options including everywhere from Louisville to Rhodes College in Memphis and even MSU... Sewanee seems to be the best fit. Look for him to play early in college. 6'4" and Beefing up to about 250 while dropping twenty and forty times he will be a challange to any offense.

I still feel that we are the best team in our region even though ya'll beat us by four yards. Anway, we'll get that back and that game is in the past. But yeah of course I'm not exactly pulling for Maplewood. Not that it matters but I hope ya'll play the best game to date- let Holt go for 383. But Hilsboro has a squad as does Whites Creek. Better bring your A game. P.S don't take it personal- it's just a game??? yeah right!!!

Tullahoma does have a great offensive in general if they could just execute. Penalties haunt Tullahoma's offense when stupid mistakes don't. 7-0 against Lawrence County and Tullahoma had to be in the red zone at least 3 times. But I am a fan and strongly believe that the offensive will pick it up. Besides, they have to if they want to beat Whites Creek. Jeeaahh!!!

Finally someone giving T-Town its props!!! Nobody really expected Tullahoma to be 6-1 at this point. Just look at the polls. But for them to beat Whites Creek Tullahoma has two not only have another great game defensively, but the offensive has to put up at least 21.

No!!! But I do hope they beat Maplewood. Hey you know- nothing against Maplewood but its more of a personal agenda.

Correction- As of game 7 for Tullahoma, Defensive Tackle Karl Rogers has 44 tackles and 23 assists. He is 6'3'' 245 and can fly to the ball- why he has 23 assists and 9 for a loss of 35 yards!!! This was his first year playing both positions, was once a DE and TE where he had about 50 tackes his Sophmore season. Made the move as a sacrifice to the team. Lumpkin is a great player but one on one I would put my money on Rogers. Might get a chance to see in the playoffs. Would be a great match-up because Rogers also plays Offensive Tackle.

(I'm really going to stop doing this) Karl Rogers from Tullahoma as of game 6 had 38 tackles 19 assists and three sack. 9 were for a loss of about 25 yards (And most tackles are on crucial 3rd down plays.) As of last night the stats aren't in but had at least another 5 and 5 night with a forced fumble. (Also plays both sides of the ball every series) Not Mr. Football though- needs a Defesive TD!!! :justwrestle:
