you know berry has beaten welsh, ficsher and ivey in every race since cross country season and beaten hurder in every race longer than the mile and and at state in cc and in a 5k last weekend
I agree with most of what you said. I just dont think it is a good idea to run more than 70 maybe 80 miles a week at this age. Your legs have just not fully developed yet.
coasterboarder, all i have to say is there is going to be two hurt guys from mcminn. I consider myself a good runner and i only put in 60 hard miles a week. And i wont get hurt either.
I think that it is hard to say who is going to come in top five in state this early. I know some people have gotten alot better this year. I know i personally have dropped nearly 45 seconds.
Why would you run 100 miles a week training for a 3 mile race. That is just stupid. When you run that far you run slow which gives you endurance. They are probably running 8 min. miles. That just doesn't make you faster in cross country.
