Both Wilson Central and Mt.Juliet are class programs.The region tournament at Wilson Central was run as if it was an NCAA first round site.Both of these programs will continue to be outstanding.Great coaches,Great players,Great facilities,Great administrations,Great programs period.It would not surprise me for both to be back at the state next season.

Nobody is complaining or whining anywhere. The truth is almost anywhere but here the mvp and coach come fromn the winning teams--thus eliminating the coaching blocks that form when their teams are beaten. Nashville schools stick together--Clarksvilles do not. So in this district if you finish first you are coach of the yr and player of the year and if you return next year and do worse-you are still coach and player of the year. So next yr if Dickson finishes fifth they should have three more members and trainer of the year also. As for bulloetin board material--think undefeated season at NE is enough. The Dickson NE games are always tough. But would imagine the NE coaches and Dickson coaches are not overlooking any team.

I have watched NE play 5 times this year. I cannot believe that Lizz Pollock and Kiesha Nicholson are not all league. My source, a boys coach, told me Dawn Evans was the last pick for the team. I believe you could take all the Clarksville all-stars(K. Brown,Adkins,S. Brown,Alexander,and Leis):There is no way that group could beat NE. Somebody help me. How many all-disrict players did Dickson have last year?Who was the MVP last year?Who was the coach of the year last year?

The job of Rick Martin,or any coach for that matter,is to play the best players that are legally zoned at their school.The band should play the best musicians.No child should be penalized because of a move.Every child should compete as equals. There are many people who believe in squatters rights. As a military brat myself,there is nothing more unfair than when the team,play,band,club; was already pre-picked. Every eligible child should receive the same opportunity. That does not go on at many schools. The 2nd point that needs to be made. What about the players that are NEW to the other schools in the district. Why are Rossview and CHS playing players that were not on last years team. Some of those kids are playing ahead of the native children.Were those children recruited?Why are they playing? Oh,I'm sorry,,, those teams are not good enough to beat Dickson. As long as Dickson beats clarksville teams,there is no problem.But boy if a clarksville team is good... they have got to be cheating!

No fiftyz, you don't get off that easy. Patrice Wade led 10AAA in scoring at Kenwood High School last year. She did it while living in the NE district. She moved into the NE zone in november.She finished out the season at Kenwood,the right thing to do in my opinion. She could not play at Kenwood this year,she had to play at NE. Martin must be a great recruiter, recruit kids to your zone,and make sure they play for someone else! Great job of knowing the facts before you open your mouth! That's the great thing about coacht,you can know nothing and respond like you are in the know,and never have to identify yourself!

The Evans girl lives in NE zone--guess she should move to Kenwood because they want her -geez. R martin is agood coach and if you meet him you would know why he wins--it is not because he needs to cheat--he just is having good seasons. All the Clarksville schools have success at different times because they are always being rezoned. BUT ANYONE WHO HAS KNOWLEDGE OF RULES BEING BROKEN HAS THE RIGHTT O CALL TSSAA and sign their name to their wonderful knowledge and it will be investigated.NE is just a good team and is well coached--as was the NW team a few yrs ago--and we were not all on this saying the coach from NW cheated --he had a good tgeam and did a good job. Heck if you had a daughter and she was entering hs--where would you want her to play right now--answer that.

I think northwest wins this game despite how poor our defense has been playing even our head coach said it sometimes our defense plays like a rock and sometimes our defense plays like a sponge our offense has been very steady all year with some help from our defense we could be undefeateed now not to late to make changes on defense but i think it needs to start with the defensive coach and the way he is doing things defense to simple and very easy to predict thumb thumb

I was there to and it was home field advantage used to its best let the coaches from northwest get the credit they deserve maybe they can do a rain dance friday night it would freak whitehouse out again if durning a critical part of game it started raining cant wait going to be a great game

I think my boys from northwest will do well noone gave us a chance last year and you see what happened not only did we have the best athletes we had the best coaching we knew just when to turn the sprinklers on and we will have something up our sleve this year to cant wait until friday night

I have heard that norteast quarterback barry cunningham will not be playing because of a pulled hamstring i also have heard that several players including some starters are being held out over discipline reasons is there any truth to this if so who is not playing

BIG H i am the one who said that northeast would get the big head and i really believe that because northeast hasent been in this position in many years i feel their players will not know how to handle it and it is just a matter of time before my vikings will be back on top of the regional standings

I must admit friday night was a schocker to me I must admit not only did we get out played we got out coached also. Northeast gave the vikings a lesson on smash mouth football hopefull the coaching staff of the vikings will correct the problems. thumb
