  1. Sorry, not a coach and not a current player on the roster for the Vikings if that is what you are thinking. Just someone who witnessed what happened at one of Stratford's away games .... what I saw before the game started and throughout the night did not belong on any field at any football game - that was why it was reported to higher school authorities.
  2. mediamogul is right, someone should have checked track records. Stratford was reported to the Director of Metro-Nashville Public Schools, Mr. Pedro Garcia about the Statford's coaches and players behavior at away games for their actions on and off the field.
  3. Both teams have found new motivation with the news of Maplewood. Whoever wins will take the 4th position in the playoffs. I think the Vikings take this victory but only if they play as a team. Problems with unity are unfolding between players. Friday night will be a revelation of whether the Vikings can swallow their own pride and play together, or will they let their differences end their season on a bad note. As an athlete I wish both teams good luck and and injury free game. As a member of the Football team and Northwest Family I hope the animosity will die down and we can survive these hardships as a team. Once again I wish both teams a good game and an injury free game.
  4. Well boys, the time has come when every game counts. No more non region games left for most teams in the region. So from here on out it is put up or shut up time. Friday night will be a major factor in the shaping of the region playoffs. No team can afford a loss now. So we will see whigh teams want it more Saturday morning when the scored are posted in the local newspaper. Until then, I wish all the teams good luck on the week, and good luck on Friday.
  5. The vikings have to do some soul searching this week. A week 2 loss to inner city rival Northeast is a hard pill to swallow. But some hard work and some team dedication (from staff and players) should fix the problem. If it doesn't then the Vikings will have a very difficult season ahead of them. But I am confident that a week of deep soul searching will bring the team back together. A new motivation has come about. We will see Friday if it has any effect on how they play.
  6. Leave the talking to the fans. Let's strap it up and let our performance speak. Actions speak louder than words... for both sides.
  7. Both teams are coming off squeeky week one victories to inner city rivalries. Who do you think will come out of week two with a win against another inner city rival?
  8. Northwest wins this decisively. Though it may take the viking offense a few series to get moving they will eventually erupt and it will take a great deal of athleticism to stop them. But the defense, which has given up 8 points since spring practice, should be able to keep Kenwood out of the endsone for most of the night. The one thing that hurts the Northwest Defense is the 'big play'. If they can stop that then they will roll over Kenwood in a week 1 win. Northwest 24 Kenwood 0
  9. Clarksville High wins this one big. The run game of Clarksville anchored by the option will dessimate the Eagle defense as they take a week 1 loss.
  10. One of the newest rivalries which has erupted over the last three or four years and has soured more and more each year is between Stratford and Clarksville-Northwest. Bad blood isn't the only thing running through the veins of these athletes. Utter hatred on both sides brings out the best in both teams and provides some hard hitting action for everyone to enjoy.
  11. Which team do you think has the best Offensive threat in Region 6-4A and who leads the attack?
