Lamon Williams, Quintex Phillips, Matt Miller, and Jamarr Hardy were those arrested in the "Drug Bust." Quintez is Lamon's younger brother. Lamon, Jamarr, and Matt Miller were all outstanding athletes at Dobyns-Bennett. Matt played football and ran track a few years ago. There are a few stipulations about the incident that I don't think will ever really get out but it is a true shame what happened. Many kids can only dream about having the talent that these kids had. I know from personally experience how upsetting it can be to watch people with such talent just throw it away.

Yea or that big #62 Jimmy Burleson, man he's a hoss. After the way he played the other night in that JV game against Tennessee High I think he wants another chance at 6.

Daniel Kilgore starts at the Center position. He rotates in and plays quite a bit at the Defensive End position. He is a stud on either side of the ball. He is going to have a great year and yes he has been looked at by several prestigous colleges.

DB has always had a great team and a great record. Every year they seem to have quite a bit of success. This year the have a rather young team. The do, however, have a good looking offensive line. What are your thoughts on the outcome of their season and how this young team will perform?

This Just In-----#7 Tyler Nottingham, after the assault on #8 Sam McCord, will not be playing in Round 2 of the State Playoffs for the Dobyns-Bennett Indians vs Soddy Daisy. This could perhaps be a rumor but it looks to be true
