  1. I hope this will be the last post on Webb vs. Catholic. a couple of notes....i really enjoyed reading about campbell and askew being out for this game...cause i'm pretty sure i saw askew out there holding on every play, and campbell getting his ankles turned on every run...so stop with this crap about players being out for a game, its just stupid and no one believes it when its posted
  2. to me it looked likt the owls were sucking some bad air from about the middle of the 2nd quarter on
  3. This is a good one...not a single Catholic player/fan posted on this before the game. It seems that almost everyone had this as a hard hitting game for four quaters...well it was, Catholic did the hitting, and they did the hitting hard on a unconditioned Smith county team.
  4. not only were jolly and mcfadden finalists, there were reports that 6 catholic players were nominated. bodie, romero, and natour on the line. and jay faris along with jolly and mcfadden.....also another Catholic/Webb showdown between mcfadden and walker!!! St. Michael the Archangel Protect Us In Battle!!
  5. NEWS FROM THE IRISH PRACTICE FIELD!!!! as you all know the starting dts for catholic are going to be out this week against webb....but there is even worse news for the irish. their starting d-end and left guard joey paynter was offically taken off the starting roster as well. it seems that he has been nursing a sore knee for the past several weeks and just yesturday let the training staff know this. it turns out that paynter has a slight tear in his left ACL and will be out this week and may never come back for the injury proned irish...... this means that several inexpierenced players will have to step up. this includes joey natour and davis bodie having to play both on the o-line and the d-line for 2 straight weeks. the d-end position is still up in the air and there might not be a starter announced until gametime. if you have any more news on these players please post it
  6. yea this should be a good one--battle of the crappy teams. i mean if youre CD and you get 70 dropped on you, that cant mean you are any good. Not to mention Hampton's amazing offense that could only score on that same teams FRESHMEN!
  7. the whole point of being an o-lineman is that we dont need the love. we dont need the credit, we do what we do for THE LOVE OF THE GAME ST. MICHAEL, THE ARCHANGEL, PROTECT US IN BATTLE
  8. you guys are right. i've heard from some sources that those Catholic starters wont come out at all. nice payback right guys?! i beleive pemberton has these boys ready for battle ST. MICHAEL, THE ARCHANGEL, PROTECT US IN BATTLE!!
  9. What about this Knox Catholic line? I dont know that much about them but from what ive heard they can be pretty dominant. I dont think they have any really big guys, but to be a running team and undefeated thats gotta be an impressive line!!
  10. there is an intesting thing about Catholic's move to D1. its that they should have been there all along. the 2nd division came about because of some schools heavily recruiting and actually holding back players, and also offering swcholarships to their players. Catholic never did any of that but since it was classified private, it was moved. now, the oppritunity has come for them to move back, and i saw go for it
  11. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! WHAT TEAM DOES THAT? IF YOU ANYTHING ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL...OR ANY LEVEL OF FOOTBALL YOU WOULD KNOW THAT THE MOST IMPORTANT GAME OF THE SEASON IS ALWAYS THE NEXT. RULE 1: DEONT LOOK AHEAD
  12. yea you guys....especially you catholic guys... you all keep talkin about yourselves....but what about that sophmore that actually played alot last year Joey Natour. Not only at center.... but both ways at linebacker! come on you guys
