Why is it that most times a Private beats a Public the public makes a million excuses to why their team is not as good. Could it not just be that the private team worked harder. I am not saying that all public school and their fans do this but i know a lot do. The TSSAA keeps tabs on schools and who goes there so the recruiting factor is not so in Div I if it were so they would be Div II. Just my little question Discuss and get mad at me if you wish.

This will anger all the Milan fans but i will say it anyway. CPA would beat yall. I dont think that anyone realizes how good they were. They are the number 3 team in the state in 2A. They are that good and Goodpasture beat them twice. As for this game it will be a good game because Milan is a great team they would not be this far if they were not. They have a great tradition and a great season this year even with the 5 game screw job by TSSAA. You guys are 12-1 not 8-5. Goodpasture respects you greatly but i think that Goodpasture has to much diversity this year. If the run game isnt effective they will pass the ball and they are good at that. But i think that the new plays put in to exploit the weakness will do it.

Goodpasture will do the same. People think that Goodpasture overlooks people and such to be honest with you Goodpasture doesnt worry about the other team so much as they do their own game. Goodpasture wants to go out and do they best they can every play every game. The outcome is the outcome whatever it may be. O yea my prediction. I think Goodpasture will be able to bust runs around the edge and have big plays. I also dont think that Milan will be able to consistently move the ball on Goodpasture. Goodpasture 28 Milan 7

I am going to say somethign that no one has mentioned yet. Goodpasture's middle school program is awful. Why? The 40 people who were on the team my 8th grade year were learning the system and how to block the plays and play good defense. This is the way Goodpasture works they get kids in the system when they are 12 or 13 and they are in this system of 5 or 6 years to where they are so familiar with it that they can block the correst assignments asleep. The seniors on this team have all been playing in this system for 4 to 6 years. They have been playing together for 4 to 6 years and have been best friends for 4 to 6 years. Goodpasture's team is a family we eat together have have fun together and we play together that is the biggest difference between this team and teams of the past.

As far as throwing like a girl i would take number 7 on Goodpasture vs any guy in your county. Heck ill give you the surounding counties as well.

Im replying to both your post yes this will be the best team you see all year. And i think it is because the enrolemnt is so small and the community that we are in supports maplewood and other close publics. Our fans consist of parents and alumni.

i was going through and looking at all the predictions and most of them have Milan holding Goodpasture to 2 TD's i am not sure if you realize they are averaging 47 points a game and put 48 on Lewis County who had only given up 41 points the whole season.

The only game i can think of where Goodpasture had a lot of fans was the clinic bowl against lipscomb there were alot alot of people there almost more than a vandy game haha.

Hopefully we will have fans we are out of school this week for thanksgiving so alot of students will be traveling plus i am sure alot will go shopping on the black friday. we might not even have fans. haha

He played JV the begining of his sophmore year and did good gave him some carries in varsity in place of a back with fumblitis he did ok then against ezel number 22 who is a starting HB broke an 80 yard run and ran away from everyone and took Josh's spot. He was moved back to JV and then quit playing so he would be able to play at another school sooner. Then he left to go to DA. Dont get me wrong he is a good back and a nice guy but he wasnt able to compete with the higher level of talent when other people were as fast as him.

I hope the winner of this games rips alcoa a new one because they have become so arrogant they need to be beaten.

So, what makes milan good is it their speed their size a combination of the 2. How big are the big guys and how fast are the fast guys.

They run the wing t right at ya they will bust a sweep around the side one drive for 80 yards then pound out the next drive up the middle and take 7 mins off the clock.

The field is pretty it drains well and is still pretty thick
