  1. Kegan Ball--the kid has the talent and strength, just doesn't get the pt he deserves. In 3 games he was utilized he had 28 carries for 221yds.- 4 catches for for 58 yds. and 3 touch downs. Thats 7.8 a carry and 14.5 rec. This doesn't even count the blocks and pancakes out of the back field. That is what he really accels at. He is a rough linebacker too. If I remember correctly he stopped Guy for a 3 yd. loss the other night and they did not run at him the rest of that series. Problem is they only used him one series. ROTATION, ROTATION, ROTATION!
  2. First of all I did not criticize H-town. If you bothered to log on more often or look at the date the thread was posted you would see that it was posted way before the Westview game. duh! But since you got me stirred, why do you not play some kids on defense w/ some experience since they are on the sideline pacing. Huntingdon has the depth, they just have to utilize it. Get a clue! Especially at linebacker!
  3. Huntingdon will win if they go back to the rotation game and utilize the stronger fullback. How can you justify sitting a kid out that has strong numbers and is nothing less than a bull. A blocking and running bull, not just running---a fullback has to block! I am telling you that this Ball kid is the real deal. He gives the team spark in the huddle and is the team motivator. If he were to get the same touches as the Donald kid the numbers would be evenly matched if not better w/ some awsome blocking to boot. Look at the stats and do the math.
  4. True, but ther are some young men that can step up if they get in the weight room. They will also need to utilize all 3 backs in order to keep other teams on their heels, something that was not done against Westview.
  5. Exactly, he had no blocking from fb either, study some film some time.
  6. Play him hard every down like they do Weathers and let him take the beating in the back field that Boo suffered last night and we will see what Guy is really made of.
  7. Huntingdon was flat out coached tonight. How do you go away from the package that has worked, which is rotation. I started a thread on here earlier of the best blocking fullback in 2A region and now will give my opinion. The best blocking fullback was on the sidelines tonight in Martin. I watched him pace the field behind the coach waiting his chance to help his team and when given the chance they drove straight down the field. The first play went to him for 24 yds. The team was pumped because he is a motivator. They felt his electricity and fed off of it. Then he was pulled and it went back to the grind. The funny thing is I heard more than a few Huntingdons fans wondering why? It is obvious that this kid loves to block and definitely is not a ball hog. So why is he not getting the play time he deserves? He is averaging 7.8 yds a carry and 11 plus yds a catch, w/ 3 tds mind you. This is unless the papers are lieing. It also seems as though Boo tends to have some pretty nice runs behind him. You get Boo hurt and all of a sudden your fulback that has been playing all night becomes a tailback and then you bring in the blocking fb. Maybe it is just me, but I don't see the logic? Believe me, I am a big Huntingdon Fan, and this is why I am concerned. I want these boys back at state, so why not use three backs that are capable of a hundred plus yds every time you have a chance. Quit wasting talent on the sidelines!

  10. Let me give my opinion and thats all it is but I havent seen a faster, more determined and also shake you out of your shoes back in a long, long time. this kid has all the fundementals down and I can promise you he's the kind of kid that would say after a night like last friday night. " It was the blocking of my o-line,wideouts,and fullbacks!!! thumb
  11. I think that this game will feature many weapons on the offensive side of the ball by the names of ( GUY,BISHOP, and the fullback for westview)-now -(BOO-WEATHERS, KEGAN BALL,CHRIS DONALD,SCOTT HAMPTON) , But this one will be decided by whose D-FENSE is ready to lay it on the line for the entire game to me Huntingdon will overcome. STANGS-35 THE VIEW-14 thumb
  12. milan will get their first of two losses in this one, the other will come at the hands of STANGS!!!
  13. You guys seem to forget about a fullback by the name of Ball who sold many a fake and took a beating last night. From what I saw he was drawing 2 or 3 guys a play and took Deberry completely out of the game. Talk was that the tigers were looking to shut him down after his performance @ Adamsville. Because of this it opened other oppertunities in the back field.Thank God for three awsome backs in the game and congrats to an o-line that played 5 & 6 against 9 & 10! Great job Stangs- PLAY LIKE CHAMPS!
  14. Sorry, MrGoodwrench I think I'll take your advice on my capital & lower case letters.
