Jon Patterson also pitched great. He almost picthed a shutout without Lexington's only 2 errors in the 1st. Lexington also stole 7 bases off a sub-par catcher with sub-par arm. Don't get me wrong from what i said earlier about the Whites not playin it would have made a difference but Lexington just flat outplayed Milan and in my opinion Lexington wouldve pulled out a win J. White or no J. White.

No J. White for Milan and C. White didnt pitch either. It couldve been a lot different game had they been in the mix a little more. But I would hope Milan has better pitching behind the Whites other than what I saw yesterday. I think a JV team could hit that pitchin. Jonathan Keck and Billy Keck pitched for the first time and looked real good. Lexington swung the bats fairly well but the key to the game was errors. Milan had multiple errors in several innings. From what i saw Milan should definately compete for 1st in their district as long as one of the Whites are pitchin.

Lexington looks like the early favorite but ive heard that Bolivar is supposed to be good this year. Who takes it?

Nobody has mentioned Deberry and Buckley. Deberry at the nike training camp ran a 4.51 and Buckley ran a 4.45. These backs don't get much credit but they are thunder and lightning Buckley has I believe 1,058 and Deberry has 830 not bad.

Lexington WILL WIN they will find a way to. Talk on here all you want about strength of schedule and what not but when it comes down to it Lexington will win! Strong O line that has allowed Deberry to rush 600+ Buckley 900+ and the QB Smith 300+ will make the difference. Yabrough and Bailey have proven that they can not only stop the run but make games very uncomfortable for the QB. Come Friday night you'll see how good Lexington is and maybe prove to you people on here that they're legit!

Lexington wins 28-13. The score could have been worse but Lexington respectably took a knee at the Liberty 1 yard line with 20 seconds left. This was a big win for Lexington and puts them in the driver's seat for a region championship!

Liberty is picked to win this region but Lexington put on a good showin against Riverside this past week. Who will win?
