  1. You are as pure as the driven snow. You must be a very boring person.
  2. An Oak Ridge fan talking about sweeping a crime under the rug is funny. At least this young man wasn't a trusted educator/coach who was asked to leave for "certain" reasons only to return to a hero's welcome. That calls for a swifer in your own neck of the woods!
  3. Try hiring someone that is outside the knox county system, and don't make the only qualification knowing the principal well. Would work wonders.
  4. He is from Maryville. He was a HS coach for 5 or 6 years, and as recently as I think 2009 or 10 in Knoxville. Probably would stay for a while. Told me he is tired of moving with the college coaching carousel every year. He is on a sub-belt staff in Alabama now.
  5. A guy that I know applied. He is currently on a D1 staff and has been a coordinator at the high school and college level. Really good with QB's. Throws it around the lot. Hope he gets a look.
  6. What if someone who is currently on an NCAA D1 staff, who has been a coordinator at both the high school and college levels, applied at Karns, and was told he didn't have the experience they were looking for?
  7. Goldballs, how any players do you think we have walking the halls that might contribute? Anyone who plays another sport but doesn't play football is where i would start first, then i would look for the big kids. any kid that might have played sports early then quit i would check on. last i would ask the city of clinton for a garbage truck to start a recrutiing service like maryville has.
  8. I have not heard what Stone will be cocentrating on but he has been working with some of the skilled players. As far as our offense goes I don't think we have the personell to run that type of offense. But that is only my opinion and I have not heard about any changes being made as of yet. Have you? would 2 yards and a cloud of dust work. I think spreading out and throwing the ball around gives clinton a better chance to win next year. I agree, some more skilled players are needed. someone needs to rattle the halls at the high school or start a recruiting service like maryville has. oops that slipped out.
  9. Could be the game of the night. GovMan seen your daughter on tv the other night, her mom must have been a great player in her day. WB 24 Farr 17
  10. at least we got in the playoffs yall came in second to last in the region so i dont want to hear it yall should just drop football as a sport in your school because yall stink What goes around comes around remember that around the world. Powell is on a steady downcline.
  11. Seen West play 2 times this year. Good football team. West 28 Red Bank 17
  12. Is booster club just for football or all sports. If it is for all sports ,then someone needs to form a Quarterback club just for football. Have fund raisers just for the football team . Sell the cards that most schools sell for $10, discounts from local business on back , have each player sell 10 of these . have each player sell 4 adds in a footbal program for $25 each. Then use booster club to pay for big items needed such as uniforms. just some ideals. One more thing, if someone is willing to give up their time for a booster club or QB club that is great thing. Someone who doesn't help with QB club or booster club then wants to tell everyone how it should be done needs to get involved or be quite.
  13. From what I hear a former Dragon QB was helping Andy this year and all he did was complain about everything, he was undermining program to benifit himself and not the kids. He showed up when he wanted to and was finally let go after showing his a%% at a game late in the year. Clinton has things in place to make a turn around and compete for a playoff spot. Booster club needs to come together for the good of the kids. Give the coaches your support. Everybody needs to understand one thing Middle School football is alot different than High School football. Kids are bigger they workout and they make a commitment to get better. Everybody work together and things will turn around.
  14. Add a line coach. Hit weights , do summer workouts, show up and pass every night. Rattle the halls in school and get more players out for football. Believe in coaches and their system. I predict a 6-4 record and 4 place finish in region.
