Hunter is a good player but he did get beat in the region tournament by soddy daisy golfer kyle cothran. green shot 70 and cothran 68 so i wouldnt say for sure he is the best in the east

I would have to say that Baylor and Soddy Daisy will have the best teams in the state. Soddy returns Kyle Cothran and Derek Rende, while Baylor returns Harris English and Don Franklin. WoW! Yesterday Soddy Daisy high school won the region by 14shots shooting a very impressive 292. Derek Rende shot 72, Kyle Cothran and Trip Harris 73, and Brett George 74. Great job and best of luck at state!

First off the only reason hixson has fewer loses is b/c they never played baylor. And mccallie played them without their top 3players. On the other hand Soddy played baylor twice and ran into a hot mccallie team WITH adam mitchel. Don't forget soddy still beat hixson this year. Soddy is still the best public school hands down.

I definitley like Hixson. they are a lot deeper than Walker Valley especially after they lost an awesome player in pat dye.

Soddy Daisy is off to a quick 2-0 start this year. they have a great Qb in gary orr and a defense thats only given up 15 points. what do you think of SD's chances of winnning it all?

The Trojans are coming off a 10-0 regular season and a 3rd place finish at last year's state. Soddy has two returning Best of Preps in senior Trip Harris and sophmore Kyle Cothran. They also return talented junior derek Rende and a solid player in Bret George. They resently lost to defending state champs Baylor by only 4shots. What do u make of Soddy Daisy's chances of winning the state tournament this year?
