  1. What a great season for both teams. Congrats to MUS on an outstanding season; they were no doubt the best all-around team in the Super 7 this year, no one would ever think a team could beat MBA and BA twice in the same season to take home the gold ball...and to BA, despite a rough start, you still made it to the championship game in the toughest league in the state, which shows the type of program is at BA; it probably is frustrating, but it is a great accomplishment to make it a regularity to be in the D2 AAA Super 7 Clinic Bowl year in and year out...another great year for the Super 7.
  2. Being in attendance at the MUS - CBHS game, I thought it was a great game between two great defenses. MUS scored on their first drive with another hoookup between Park and Lawhorn; however, penalties and miscues seem to halt MUS for the remainder of the game. CBHS never seemed to get anything going on offense, and their defense did a fine job along with many MUS miscues...as this was close to a repeat of the MUS vs. Baylor game. On another point, the paper mentioned that the MUS Qb, Park, had surgery on his hand earlier in the week...did this surgery affect him and does anyone know if his he allright for the remainder of the season?
  3. Having witnessed the MUS loss to Baylor and the win against Brentwood...I agree that MUS only stopped themselves against Baylor. Amassing 400 and something yards against Baylor with 7 turnovers, it was obvious that MUS beat themselves. As far as the MUS QB is concerned, he looks to have been consistent all year in the eight games, except for two games, in which 8 of his 10 INT's have occured. Also, the MUS QB seemed to rebound and play like he regularly does in the game against Brentwood, as he seemed to audible a lot to get MUS in the right play to make the running game work and made some very critical third down passes in the second half to keep their drives going when they needed it. As far as MBA, they are the most solid team in the league. This MBA @ MUS game will be a classic D2-AAA matchup for a team looking for a top seed in the playoffs.
  4. What is wrong with Braswell? He is a very important part of that Baylor rushing attack...will an absent Braswell play a huge factor in this game?
  5. What are some of the strong points of these two teams MUS and Baylor?
  6. This will be a good matchup...I see MUS stopping the Baylor rushing game and putting some points on the board against a Baylor team that is last in the Super 7 on defense. Any other picks on the game? Also, any info on the Baylor running back? Did he not play against MBA last week and will he back for this game?
  7. I agree that CBHS has gotten off to a great start with a young team and strong defense; however, I will also say that the Wave has been blessed with incredible field position in both of its big wins enabling them to score with ease (East - something like an 18 yard punting average which resulted in great field position; Brentwood - I think two turnovers inside the 20). How of an effect does anyone think this has had on the games?

Does anyone think that the Germantown running game will be effective against CBHS' new and aggressive style of defense?
