I love the Huntingdon poll. I remember a similar prognostication last year against Libscomb.

I remember when I played for Huntingdon many years ago we all laughed when we saw the 8mm film of Brownie Croom from Jackson Northside on the Monday before we played them. He looked like a 5'4" white boy fat bowling ball running. Our coaches immediately admonished us and for good reason. He ran all over us that Friday and they whipped us on the scoreboard. I hope the Alcoa players are laughing at Boo but I bet they know better.

If you think Austin Rogers can get to the outside better than Phillip Weathers I hope that Alcoa's defense thinks the same thing. I can assure you they don't. Weathers has a hard time getting to the outside because he is so slow. HA HA! I am kidding because I know that the coaching staff and players at Alcoa know that Austin Rogers is no Phillip Weathers. No slight intended to Austin Rogers or his kin.

Budrock, Thanks for the informative post. All you had to do was look at Acoa's past scores to find out Alcoa has a great defense. The Mustangs also have a great defense or they wouldn't be playing in this game. Can't wait to see it!

No way am I underestimating the Alcoa Tornados. Quite the contrary. Alcoa is ranked no. 1. We have confidence, yes, as we did last year against Lipscomb where we were not given a chance. We found out last year that the game has to be played on the field, no matter who is favored. That's what makes football such a great sport. The team that plays the best(not he team that has the best players) wins the game. I'm sure Alcoa has better talent( Huntingdon,however has plenty) than Huntingdon but I feel we will win the game. Go Mustangs. Bertier, Egotistical?

REBELRON, If Alcoa tries to pass they had better score because Huntingdon has a very good defensive backfield. Camden and Mckenzie both had great passers and we showed we could defend the pass. They had better stay away from Boo's corner for sure because he can defend and has good hands to boot. What makes Huntingdon's defense great is the fact that they have greatly improved against the run between the tackles. They have defended the pass pretty well all year. I understand that Alcoa has an outstanding QB but I would put the Markam boy at Camden against any school as far as arm strength, accuracy, and mobility.
