  1. Food for thought. This is the situation............ 2nd round of the playoffs. The winner advances to the quarterfinals, loser goes home. I hope that no team needs comments from the opponents to pump them up. If playing for the advancement of your team isn't motivation enough, then it's time to do some soul searching. Also, motivation, adrenaline, etc, will only last for a few plays/series. After that, it is simply execution and talent. May the best team win (that does not always happen).
  2. First and foremost, I am biased on this game But………… Food-for-thought Of Marshall Co.’s wins, their average margin of victory is 7.6 points versus teams that are combined 16-36 (or something like that). Only one of those teams is in the playoffs (Marshall). Lexington’s average margin of victory is 17.4 points versus teams that are combined 43-57 (or something like that). Of these teams, 6 are in the playoffs. But as mentioned before, what does this mean? Nothing! I just needed something to do at work to pass the time. The game is played on the field.
  3. there is a possibility of a three way tie for fourth, but Trenton will get the spot due to overall record. Is this correct?
  4. I know who 1-3 are (in any ordre), but what about number 4? Is it guananteed that Trenton is # 4??
  5. I cannot believe that this topic has this much feed in. These feeling are only in the eyes of the beholder. As far as I am concerned, there is no thuth to this thought.
  6. I look online, but found nothing. It must be in the printed edition. what did it say?
  7. that should read "how was the crowd for the two days"
  8. Anyone want to give an estimate on how many were at each game?
  9. shutting down the computer and heading to the boro, finally last one out of town please turn out the lights.
  10. I'd bet he's not even from Alcoa. Ignore this and keep up the clean chat.
  11. From the looks of the picks, Melrose and Huntingdon are the biggest underdogs. Something like 77% picking Maryville over Melrose and 82% picking Alcoa over Huntingdon.
  12. Hey I see you. Your #70 in the picture
  13. Just wanted to see what the average opinion was?
  14. The person being referred to here is Coach Paul Ward...yes, "THE PAUL WARD". His son Paul Ward, Jr. asked to make a trek of 10 yards to his vehicle to retrieve something for his father (within full view of the officer). The arrogant police officer proceeded to inform Mr. Ward that for his 10 yard trek, it would cost him another $7. The son told the policeman what he was doing for a 78 year old man, but the Officer Barney Fife would have no part of it. Moral to this story---Barney messed with one of the all time legends of West Tennessee Football. Final Score......Huntingdon 12, Milan 7
  15. Going into last night's game, there was lots of electricity. For the Huntingdon fans, this feeling was not something new. But for the Camden fans, it was. I want to say that I am personally glad to see my friemds over in Camden get to experience what we in Huntingdon have enjoyed for several years. And maybe one day, you will get to experience the biggest game............the finals. An even better feeling than that, is bringing home the gold ball. I'm ready for the excitement of a rematch with Milan, and hopefully on to the 'Boro.
