Why not...it's never stopped the coaches before why should it stop the fans! LOL!

Although I could not attend due to a clinical for EMT school, I do know there were 4 officials from Region I. Not sure of how many from Region 2 were there.

Well put coach! As an official i try to keep it in simple terms. If it looks bad, it probably is and it needs to be stopped. No matter what happens on the mat, the safety of the wrestlers is top priority! thumb

I was on the sideline for most of the game and I didn't hear anything more than what I've heard at any other HS football game. However, I did hear a considerable amount of trash talk out of the Powell kids. I must commend the Canes for holding their emotions like they did (only one unsportsmanlike penalty). As far as the race issue, I honestly beleive that no matter what coach or what race the coach is, there is always going to be some sort of bickering about someone getting treated different or a group getting treated different if things don't go the way they want. With that I say, "Welcome to high school football." It happens everywhere. maybe not on the same scale as other places, but it happens. As far as taking the blame, there is only so much blame a coach can take by himself. Anytime you listen to Billy Seals or Larry Smith talk they refer to the team as we. Can be more team than that.
