That change was submitted to local media outlets after the original list. However, if you see a varying report, THIS is the corrected list. If you have any questions, contact your local coach and he can get in touch with head coach Jeff Porter regarding the all-region selections, which are done by coaches. The banquet will be held at a later date. Thanks, Kris Freeman White House Football xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx This can be found at the link below. Thanks to bdpweb http://boards.coacht.com/index.php?showtopic=117103 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx This is the real list of the most deserving players... I'm glad that these picks are made by the coaches and not the members of the newspaper and radio. As you can see some people really don't know everything about the talent of other teams...although they make desent picks on the teams that they like and know about.
  2. Congratulations WhiteHouse on a great season and Run at the end.
  3. Private or not the men on that team work hard Bulldog. There is really not that much difference. Their coaching staff is also excellent.
  4. I don't know if this argument can hold alot of water I know that Cheatham beat Greenbrier. not even arguing the point of all the Bobcat injuries during that game...the cubs where better that night no doubt. Greenbrier held the Mustangs to 101 yards rushing on the night and 21 yards passing. Cheatham gave up 219 yards and 266 yards in their games. not to mention the points. Cheatham did lose the first game with costly turnovers. Greenbrier had the fortune of playing Lipscomb early in the year and shut them down. Not bragging just dont think Cheatham is the best team they have faced...Greenbrier did win. Lipscomb is the best team I have watched play since the playoffs began. I have alot of respect for their program and enjoy watching them play. Good luck Lipscomb in the coming weeks and enjoy practicing on Thanksgiving. Next Week don't let Covington take over the home stands like lexington did. Get their early Lipscomb fans
  5. Dandy I am not slanting the garbage at anyone other than the thread in general. It is equally shared. People should know how to win and lose but some don't as Superbowldream has stated as well as myself there were bad scenes on both sides.... No one should post when they are mad unless it is about one "know it all" on here who is the guru of football......(catfish smelling person)lol
  6. Good luck next week to White House. Give them the "what for" from region 4. You will have your hands full with a very good ND team. You have been in this position before so I know you can handle it. Go White House.........Go Bobcats
  7. I really wish everyone would just sit back and read this garbage… Both schools had the privilege to see a great football game tonight. It was the reverse two weeks ago…and that was a great game also. I will never forget the long run Ladd had in game one along with Dill and Pigg grinding it out for the win…. I will also never forget the great catch and run Ladd had in game two along with the great runs he had. I can still see Pigg hurdling Ladd at the 15 and going on in to score for the Cats. Both Teams have good and bad fans…we just need to convert the bad ones… I witnessed a few ugly scenes by both teams as well as some players from other high schools that were there. One should be humble in winning and losing whether it is BDP or Bobcat Pride. Don’t discredit the game that these men have played by running your mouths off. Congrats to White House and good luck next week Congrats to the Bobcats. You have accomplished so much this year and you should be very proud.
  8. In all play-off games, in the first and second rounds the higher seeded team shall be the host school. In the third round and semifinals in odd-numbered years the top team in each bracket shall be the host team. In even-numbered years the procedure shall be rotated in the third round and semifinals. However, in the third round if two teams from the same region play each other, the higher seeded team shall be the host. http://tssaa.org/2005Champions/StateFootball/home.htm
  9. In my humble opinion Catfish is off base here. I still have not read his last two posts but I just know this guy. He will lie. He will change his name because he overloads his cbarkley mouth. Maybe one day he will give up the catfish name also. The good thing about all of this is that he doesn’t get to vote about anything. Neither do I. I will almost bet that there will not be 5 sycamore players voted as MVP of their position. Just to many good athletes in those position in this region. Congratulations to all those in the playoffs. I wish that you were as good as (some people think) those not in the playoffs.
  10. i will not read what the guru of football has wrote... I will just hope he can find a region 5 board to post on.... Sycamore with 5 picks just shows how biased the picks are. I will have to say after looking at some of the other picks I will agree (MVP) with some and I believe there are several lineman (on different teams) who could qualify for MVP. I still just don't see 5 from sycamore when they are a 5th place team that only scored 78 points to Region opponets and 41 of those points were on Dekalb co. I can agree to disagree with you on this one.
  11. I violated my own rule by even looking at your post but I had to see what kinda grap you were putting out. You have Pearl Cohn listed with 6 players in the top spots Sycamore with 5 players Greenbrier with 3 players dekalb with 1 macon with 2 Whitehouse with 1 Station Camp with 1 You are so biased with your opinion that it is ridicules. Greenbrier finished 1st and only has 3 players listed and the Wareagles have 5. Where did your War Eagles Finish this year. They may be loaded for next year but this is here and now. Those players are good but I don't know if they could start for the some of the top four teams in the region. This is not indended as a slam on the Sycamore kids but a slam on your thinking. You have slammed alot of good Whitehouse, Greenbrier, Macon, Station Camp, Pearl Cohn and Dekalb players with your list. Stick to the mic BUDDY in region 5 3a...your opinion in region 4 3-a is just that ...your opinion. how many region 4 3a games have you watched.... Stats don't tell the whole story. Sorry for the step out back to the ignore button.

I have to go with Greenbrier.....We are just like butter............we are on a roll too.
  13. Try not to quote catfish......I have him blocked out and life is great except when people use his quotes in their post he shows up again. Go Bobcats... Titan technically now Greenbrier leads in the region because they have no losses. The true region champ will come out friday. We will either have one region champ or three region champs
  14. I agree with the statement you make but yoooou were not there and didn't see the play. 4 of the five refs all saw the pass as a latteral incomplete which is a fumble. the ball was returned for a TD for Greenbrier. One of the five refs blew the pass as incomplete...He was awful all night for both teams. this makes it an inadvertent whistle...re-play the down
  15. Good job tonight guys. one more down You played good enough to win and we are very proud Dallas is an excellent running back...he had 14 carries and 98 yards in the tennessean http://preps.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/...39149&story_id= not bad considering he was in that wreck and all. i hope he continues to recover quickly. focus on the next game Cats and don't get caught up in all the junk that is being said. ............First downs .........Rushes Passing......
