I was at the ETSU game, and Joey Blackwell flat out put on a show Although his team was down by a large margin he never gave up, he played stellar defense and shot jumper after jumper in the eyeballs of the ETSU defenders. Blackwell was 0-1 in the first half, but he took matters into his own hands in the second half sinking 5 three pointers and 3 free throws on ETSU. He even had the ETSU student section applauding him at one point. Joey is straight out of the FA, and went to Dobyns Bennett high school. The funny thing about all of this is that Joey is only a freshman at UVA Wise, so when he is a senior you never know how many he will drop on ETSU (that is if ETSU is not afraid to schedule them then) Although UVA Wise came up a bit short in the game on saturday, i must give Joey Blackwell credit on one of the greatest individual performances ive seen. This kid has a very bright future, keep up the good work. thumb

DB band is the best band in the state, and one of the best bands in the country they are led by Laef Cook, and assistant Ryan "little big man" Gilbert if you dont believe me that they are the best band, check them out on NBC in the Macey's day parade this thanksgiving.

ladies, this game should be one to remmeber, however with coach watson's defensive game plan i dont think the tribe well come up short.

Cullen Conerly, better known as the stubby kid for DB, #82 also Matt "through the endzone" Mcmillan has got to get some consideration for special teams, his leg is amazing

waco jaco, art, and all you other coach T'ers; the loss of tyler "t naughty" nottingham is without a doubt a big blemish to the Dobyns Bennett team. however to harp on this subject is down right ubsurd. all of you "clowns" need to start focusing on the task at hand rather than bashing the coaching staff for taking an action that it seams that they were forced to do. the fact is DB lines up against SD on friday night at J Fred Johnson stadium, and although tyler is not playing, 85 other people are. good luck to the tribe

listen up, and listen up closely i have seen both of these stellar teams play, and once again its coming down to 4 key components to get the win 1st we need a strong kicking game - advantage DB because of Matt "through the endzone" Mcmillan 2nd we need goo defensive pressure - again, advantage DB because of Cullen "the stubby kid" Conerly, and Alex "big arms" King 3rdly it will come down to recieving - another advantage DB because of David "skearles" Earles and 4th and foremost a good line - once again advantage DB because of Casey "pancake" Salyer soo, being the football "guru" that i am said to be, i am going to have to take Dobyns Bennett over the Owls

obviously you people disregarded my post Matt "through the endzone" Mcmillan's leg is stellar, it could be the diffrence. and when hes not kicking, hes slamming running backs that weigh about 50 pounds less than him. he also plays a little offense too, although in my opinion he gets the shaft, when he should be getting plenty of balls his way look for "through the endzone" mcmillan to have a big game come friday night

this should be a close game considering that its a playoff game and both teams are looking to move on to bigger and better games. i look for the diffrence to come in the kicking game and now that DB has matt mcmillan kicking off things could get nasty i take DB by 4 touchdowns, thanks to matt "through the endzone" mcmillan

i believe #82 cullen conerly is leading the big east in sacks he may be a little guy with a choadish figure however he finds a way to get to that quarterback i believe he has at least 7 sacks, and thats with not playing the whole game conerly is on his way to being part of the elite nation of domination, by dominating the other teams offensive line now thats somthing you dont hear everyday.

DB, or as opponents are starting to refer to them "the University of Dobyns Bennett" (because they look like a college team) is going to be very hard for any team to handle. i hear riverdale has a very strong team this year, and it well defnately be a dogg fight in the semi-finals, however UDB is going to be wearing those maroon and grey state championship rings on December 4th, and Grahm " clark well have the monkey off his back.

all i know is that science hill better run it between the tackles, because there is no running it around the outside on DB's defensive ends. With head hunters like conerly and king science hill will be luckly to gain posotive yardage. And for science hill's quarterback, just some friendly words of advice, if u do not want to get sacked on every play that u throw the ball, you better be running some short routes and getting the ball out of ur hand quickly, because conerly is going for a sack record, and if u take too much time u well be on ur back all night .

This is ridiculous quite honestly.......Riverdale is a great team by all means, however they are not nearly on as high of a petestal as you "clowns" have put them on. Dont get me wrong, i have been to several Riverdale games this year and they are a GREAT team, but not as unbeatable as you all are making them sound. Oak Ridge or DB would give Riverdale a run for there money. I went to that game and those are 2 great teams, however watching that game ide give the slight edge to DB. Riverdale vs. DB would be a dog fight and i dont care what any of you say. Quite honestly i dont think that Riverdale is ready for DB's passing attack. So listen up, you heard it here first, DB well indeed upset (if you can call it that) Riverdale in the semifinals of the state

Duran Ferguson is with out a doubt the best QB in the state. No secondary can handle his cannon, of course it helps him a lot that hes got the best reciever in the state, but regardless no other QB's compete. Most QB's ive seen can hardly hand the ball off, let alone throw a spiral So lets just save some time and go ahead and declare Duran the manza when it comes to throwing the old pigskin.

oh snap.....DB versus Jeff county. this could get ugly. DB has an offense that well have Jeff Co looking like this DB has a defense that well have Jeff Co looking like this put both of those together and that equals a and a 5-0 record i believe DB has won 12 straight in this series, lets just say that they are aproaching the nation of domination. thumb
