don't have final score - just heard Macon won the game

I got a list of things the girl bball player needs. shoes- 9 or 9 1/2 clothes- jeans-3 and shirts- small That is all i got.

I will try to get a list from the players and i will follow up.

One girl and one boy basketball player lost their homes but famlies are ok. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

The game doesn't matter? Every game matters. Can you imagine a Coach telling their team that a game does not matter? I can't imagine looking at a player who ran up and down a court all night long and poured their heart and soul into a game "that's ok the game does not matter". The thing is the game matters for both teams. These are two good teams, but like I said earlier you just haven't seen it from Macon. RBS has played together throughout their entire season and have been successful because of it. They do have the best team I have seen at RBS in a long time. They do need to keep their cool, but I know that Coach White's personality may not permit him to keep his. Sometimes a "T" is warranted and sometimes the Coach must get the "T". One more thing - when you get to the tourney you are back at zero - so just keep that in mind. It does not matter what you have done - your wins give you a position in the tournament and that is all. RBS should do very well and I anticipate they will. Their record will give them some momentum in knowing how good they are. However, they had better know that the environment will always be hostile come tourney time. Macon will do well if they continue to remember that all good players know how to make all of the players around them look good. Last night for Macon was a good example of sharing the ball and allowing your team mates to touch the ball and so the starting five girls racked up some points. Good passing and ball handling also. Also, turnovers appeared to be minimal. RBS did seem flat but that is what a hostile environment can do for a team and then a team that needs and was hungry for a Win came onto the floor. The loss is unfortunate for RBS, but is just what the doctor ordered for Macon. I like watching both teams and always appreciate the game and the atmosphere.

Macon played a great game tonight. RBS has a good team without a doubt. The thing is so does Macon. Nobody has been seeing much of it, but tonight Macon finally stepped up and gave the crowd a picture of what kind of team they truly are. Compton, Clark, Gregory, Sircy, Conley, and Fitzgerald really came through. They all did their job, played as a team, handled the ball and controlled their turnovers. Something they have had difficulty with in past games. If they play like this for the remainder of the season, this team could be the team to beat. Congratulations to these young ladies for the way they played. I think we all expect to see this team from now on. Whatever they did tonight they need to continue to do. They are young true and their Coach is young, but these girls have some real talent. Congratulations to RBS as well on a successful season.
