You make a great point charlie. That was the case with Jacie there. I just brought up my points because I hate that something like this is being talked about right when they're doing really good, but I know the girls have worked hard for everything. I also know a lot of the girls on this team and know their personalities so I know what you mean abou tthe spunk. I guess I'll just stay out of it from now on. I saw the break down the last game at McEwen and saw what people were talkin about, so I do understand what you're sayin. I'll just keep my mouth shut.

In regards to Coach Davis leaving before the game. A lot of people forget or just plain dont know that for quite a few weeks back in the fall he was sick to the point where he was almost on his death bed. He's still workin on getting his energy back, thats why he doesnt stay for the guys games. The girls games take a lot out of him, and some times its all he can do to stay for the girls. I've heard him get a lot of criticism for the ways he coaches. Remember though, before he started coaching these girls never even thought winning a District tourney game, let alone playing in the Distric Championship. I know it does help that you have the two leading scorers in the County in Chelsea Hannah and Brandi Redding, but I think he deserves a little bit more credit. A lot of people can sit on the sidelines or in the stands and coach, but it takes something special to apply what you know on the court. I definately thought that he could've treated the McEwen game a little differently, but still its not our spot to say whether he's a bad coach or not. I think the girls on this team have developed their talents, I remember a time when they couldnt hit water if they fell out of a boat. Thats not the same case anymore. I know Coach Davis has stressed game experience and the girls scrimmage a lot. They've developed as a team, and I think it helps with Coach Singer being a younger woman and she relates well with these girls and keeps them together as a team. Also, leadership from Nat, Brandi, Shorter, Hannah, and freshman Shelby Ray steppin up has developed this team. I think all together they have a great package. With the exception of maybe some personnel trouble every once in a while. I think Davis does a pretty good job....

Yeah I was talkin bout regular season, and I was wrong. We haven't clinched yet. We just have to beat Clarksville Academy on Friday and then we'll clinch because even if we were to lose to McEwen next week we'll still have the tie breakers.

Well in another nail biter the Patriots come out on top. I think they're kind of flying under the radar right now!!! All there games are close but they're holding tough and staying composed when it gets down to it and playing GREAT TEAM ball. They are 14-6...2 losses in A ball (both were avenged). The other ones 1. Hendersonville-AAA school 2. Clarksville by 8 Isnt Clarksville one of the top teams in AAA???? 3. Knox Catholic 14-5 and a top team in AA 4. Powell-15-6 in AAA....SSSHHHHH dont say too much but these guys arent all that bad....They're smart and play great defense!!!! look at their team page to see their wins....

this is shaping up to be a tough region with Heritage and Nashville Christian battling it out in the other district...Looks to be an interesting Tourney

I dont know whats goin on with Refs this year, but I went to Adams to see White House Heritage play Jo Byrns tonight....Heritage came out on top, but the score and who won were completely overshadowed by the 65 total fouls that were called in the game...Thats gotta be near some kind of record.

Hey thanks for the update zeke. I hate that I've been so busy and have missed these guys play, you know how much I loved the football season. I wish we had a big guy, but we can run with the best of em so it'll be good. It sounds like between East Lit and maybe a little rivalry play this could shape up to be a real good season.

I didnt know we played Hendersonville. I dont go there anymore. When I looked at the Hendersonville game on the schedule I thought it was a misprint. Do you happen to know the score of that game?

I didnt realize the MBA game counted against their record, I thought it was just an exhibition game. I had also forgot Houston County was in the district for some reason I thought they were 2-A though I remembered playing them a lot every year in basketball and baseball. So sorry bout that. Either way Heritage is pretty good

Well White House Heritage has yet to lose in Region play. Record 5-1, they play East Robertson on Tuesday though. Thats going to be the true test so far this season

Hey Heritage guys. Lets just get out of this argument. We did lose this game, we definately didn't get spanked. Unless, I went to another game maybe. These guys are on their high. Lets give it to them. Then next week we'll see what they're saying after they're done. I guess it's about time they admit they're ONE of the worst teams in the state. Possibly the country I think. I mean they had to beat us by forcing 15 turnovers, and our kickers leg fell off. I think we can compare to the jr. pro teams of the area. Maybe I think they could possibly beat us. Please, whats the worst teams crap? I think they're going to start feeding these coacht posts over Comedy Central.

You must know a lot then. Considering I'm not Rob...I know they are the best team in the district without him. He was a loss though. Maybe some people have talked to him, that you dont know of.

I dont know a whole lot out of Region 5-1A, but I'll send my picks from that region. At quarterback McClung from Heritage and the guy from JBS. The linebacker from Clarksville Academy will make an impact. Last time I looked he was at the top in tackles in the state.

Well after seeing both teams play I think Jo Byrns has the edge. As long as their defense can get off the field on third and fourth downs, they'll be fine. You were right before Tuck. Sitting up in the stands I watched the guards, and was saying exactly where the ball would go each time. Guess what. It did. Key the guards and dont over pursue you'll be fine Jo Byrns. Don't over look these guys though. I think they may have been doing that with us. We almost showed what could happen when you do that. Good job to that dude who returned the INT for the touchdown. They play until the final whistle blows. They are also good and reading the quarterback. We have some great recievers on our team. Thats how we got those "lucky" catches, but they did a great job containing our recievers. I think ya'll will be able to pound the ball, but dont get ahead and slack off. C'wood doesn't quit.
