  1. I'd like to know how blowing horns and cheering on your own team is disrespectful. There is no excuse for what the kids(fans) were doing afterwards, like yelling obsenities to the Coach, but would any of this happened if the signs were not ripped down? No, not at all. Shelbyville does have a very loud fan base that does cheer through the whole game, not just during scores. This was a very hard fought game, and this Shelbyville team was very proud to go this far. This has been the farthest that this team has ever gone. But please, to say that we were disrespectful by blowing horns and all that garbage............
  2. Great job Tullahoma, bring home the State title!
  3. I have never seen such poor sportsmanship in all of my life. After the game, all of the Ooltewah girls ran across the field and shredded three banners that the Shelbyville team placed on the inside fence line (with permission from the host team). These three signs were posted during our entire season and meant a lot to our girls. Not to say that during an injury of a Shelbyville player, the announcer had to remind everyone that "during the injury, please don't forget to visit our concession stand......". Like I said, I've never been hosted by such a poor Team.
  4. Coming from Shelbyville, the only thing that I'll tell you is that we are very deep in our scoring ability. Meaning that it can come from anywhere. Good luck Goalie, I hope it's a good game.
  5. www.t-g.com for Shelbyville
  6. Ooltewah might have some Seniors that want to win, but Shelbyville is powered by 5 starting Freshmen and 4 starting Sophomores that are hungry for the States.
  7. I'll agree on just about all of those predictions...... Shelbyville just got their 2nd String goalie back, so I'll stick with the shut-out, even though 3rd string wasn't doing terrible for the spot that she was put in. Also, the 1st string Goalie will be back in action Wednesday.
  8. Think of it this way.... If by some great chance (don't take me literaly) that Shelbyville wins their bracket, and Tullahoma wins their bracket, it will be the first time ever that two teams from the same District will be in the State Finals. I think that from now until next Thursday Shelbyville and Tullahoma should be cheering for each other. What a great accomplishment that will be for everyone saying that Region 4 has a weak Region.
  9. Thanks for the input.... being relatively new to the State leaves me in the dark in some categories.
  10. Just exactly how does a team get a State Ranking? Looking at some of the teams on the list, they have great records, but they have only beat 1 or 2 teams on the current ranking list, where other teams that are nearly perfect have no ranking at all and beat the same number of teams on the list. I'm refering to the top 5 teams by records for the State AAA.
  11. This one will be too close to call for sure. Each team has beat each other by 1 goal, so you'd have to go with the home field (crowd) advantage. Shelbyville over Tullahoma 4-3.
  12. Looks like it'll be a repeat of the Divisional game since Shelbyville beat Cookeville 5-1. Should be a really good game.
  13. Final score 5-1 what do you think the outcome of Region 4 will be?
  14. Shelbyville 3-1 over Cookville, got to add the field advantage in Shelbyville.
  15. Cookville does have a good team this year that Shelbyville will face on Tuesday, but as for Tullahoma, I think that Shelbyville has noticed a couple of weak spots that will be in their favor.
  16. What about those Districts that have already been chosen?
  17. good point... but is it worth the Regional Title?
  18. I think that Shelbyville does have a good chance at winning Regionals. Looking at their record, and their schedule. And you're right, the season is not over yet, Tullahoma will still play Shelbyville again..... If they beat Siegel.
