  1. Here is an example our club is called Tullahoma Wildcat Wrestling Club. Our singlets have a T and a wildcat head on the front with a paw print on the back. All of these logos fit into our club name. The letter T comes from Tullahoma, and the wildcat head is also mentioned within our club name. This is not a singlet that was worn by our varsity wrestlers. Our varsity wrestlers wears a totally different singlet this season, so there should be no confusion.
  2. only if half of your student body has under 6% body fat!!!!!!!
  3. Jose Is there any idea how they will determine the state dual teams next year with 10 regions?? Will the TSSAA bring all 10 region champs and the runner-up from each of the 10 regions????? Just curious how it will work.
  4. A Class Lookout Valley 232 - Sycamore 803 AA Class Greeneville 834 - Franklin Co. 1400 AAA Class McMinn Co. 1409 - Antioch 2461 This wouldn't be a bad split
  5. 103 Johnson (Collierville) Reg 8 112 Coleman (Cleveland) Reg 3 119 M. Ortiz (Franklin) Reg 5 125 Shields (Maryville) Reg 2 130 Miller (Cleveland) Reg 3 135 Holliman (Brentwood) Reg 5 140 Creagan (Bradley Central) Reg 3 145 Barnett (Germantown) Reg 8 152 Spain (Bradley Central) Reg 3 160 Borneman (Houston) Reg 8 171 Knox (Farragut) Reg 2 189 Meredith (Blackman) Reg 5 215 Lettner (Soddy Daisy) Reg 4 275 Hazlett (Union Co.) Reg 2 Just my picks so take them for what you want. Most improved Region goes to Region 8 who will have a good tournament this year. I still think Franklin will take the overall title this season. They will have 7-8 medalist this year and will win the title, but Bradley Central will keep it close.
  6. I was a assistant coach at Maryville when Justin was wrestling for WB and he was a real talent as a high school wrestler. I have not seen his Greenback team yet over these past four years, but from what I have seen he must be doing a great job with those kids. I want to wish him the best of luck in the upcoming state duals in Clarksville. Coach Jimmy Miller Tullahoma High School
  7. Tullahoma is also starting a club this season "Wildcat Wrestling". We encourage any kid from any of the surrounding counties to come join us at Tullahoma.
  8. We are in the same boat at Tullahoma. Our booster club supports the entire wrestling program K-12th grade. We have tournaments throughout the year that help us support these programs. We have a pre-season tournament in November, a dual tournament in December, a FCI tournament in February, and now this year we are hosting a USA K-8th grade Freestyle State Tournament. Without our booster club we could not travel to tournaments and wrestle the best teams in the state. We are fortunate to have such a club in place at Tullahoma. We have recently taken over an old middle school gym which we have turned into our wrestling room. We have 2 full mats with locker room, showers, and alot of storage room. Myself and a few parents have put all the work into the gym and it is slowly getting to where it needs to be for next season. My AD pays for very little in the big picture of high school wrestling. I will get him to pay for bus travel and offcials of home matches, unless it is a booster club tournament. Should a booster club taken up money each year from parents. I know of a few schools that do charge to be in the booster club. I have mixed opinions on this but don't know which route to take for next year. One problem we have had here at Tullahoma was last season we had about 5 or 6 wrestlers by season end and that cost was not to high, but this season we are traveling with 18 to 20 kids each weekend including some JV kids on a few weekends. This was a unseen cost and has caused us some finacial trouble being able to adjust to the new cost of the high school team. Don't get me wrong having more kids is not a bad thing, but just a finacial adjustment.
  9. I will try to leave him before he can catch the bus.
  10. Masters, Do you have Tullahoma on your list?
  11. Region 5 will be wrestled on Saturday Tullahoma Vs. Ravenwood Franklin Vs. Smyrna
  12. I am trying to get Jeff Price (Science Hill) to come down for the dual tournament on Saturday December 17, 2005
  13. Just a few right now Smyrna, Brentwood, Cookeville. I am trying to get away from mostly Region 5 teams and make the field alittle tougher. I also have a tri-match the night before with Brentwood & Cookeville if you would want to come down on Friday.
  14. masters, We are having a 16-team dual tournament on Dec 17, 2005. If you don't have anything planned we would like to have you at Tullahoma.
  15. I believe that Maryville was alittle beat-up from the Soddy Tournament. I might be wrong but I think Maryville lost a few kids at Soddy to injury.
  16. Jeff Jordan does a great job always, but I was trying to point out other coaches that might not get the attention that Jordan would get in a season. By not including Jordan in my list wasn't stating that Jordan doesn't do a good job.

  22. Region 5 Duals @ Tullahoma January 29 Region 5 Individual Tournament @ Ravenwood February 11 & 12
  23. Son you are a good wrestler and nobody is doubting that, so please stop floating your own boat. This will all be settled out at the region tournament where it really matters. It doesn't show alot of class when you get on here and run down others, so really just zip it and prepare yourself for the regional.
  24. Would they be able to wear a singlet that the varsity team did not use this season? This singlet was not used in any varsity match. The singlet also has no school name on it but does have a T on the chest.
  25. well I spoke with Ronnie Carter this morning and we have determined the district winner and runner-up. But it is the job of the district coaches to agree with this decision, and if there can not be a agreement then no District 9 team will attend the region 5 duals. I will not say the outcome of our conversation due to the fact that I have not spoken with the other coaches yet this morning.
