I think its time to get back to the Elizabethton of old when we played hard for Ryder and back when we had coaches like Dave Turpin. Our boys played hard and tough no matter who we played and no matter how good we were. Even if it means getting Dave Turpin back up here, but we need that hard nosed style of football.

Tell the Truth, we didn't play a JV game because our JV are the backups on Friday night and by the way they are getting experience along our great freshman quarterback who wipped your tale to what was it 59-0 and these guys are the future because he will play friday night against THS and will be alot more prepared than the first time he jumped the game. I was talking about how poorly THS's freshman are and they got skunk in death valley.

THSViking I have assessed your competency as far as football knowledge. And my assessment is that you don't know crap. I have listened to ya'll THS fans for weeks and all you talk about is how good you are and how you think your team is the TENNESSEE VOLS and THS Viking let me tell you something you arenot the VOLS. And further more the Rebels didn't play well, fumbled the ball several times and that's not going to happen this time. Lastly, the Rebels will definitely beat you in years to come because my boy plays for south's freshmen team and I watched ya'll play and we smoked ya'll and My assessment of your team was they were the worst team in the conference. They looked like they weren't coached, everything Tennessee high's freshmen team did was a cluster from the warm-ups to the playing. If you ask me they probably weren't coached at all.

Now I'm not a big THS fan but I was at the game between East and THS and I've kept up with the MLC standings and been to alot of the games. Just see if this makes sense, I have heard a lot of talk about people saying that THS hasn't played anybody though but East has the same conference schedule. They played the same opponents and just what if that was the best East could do. Lets look at some of the games. South and East, East won 31-28 and South could have won if they would've had better clock management. South and THS 52-7 no contest. Daniel Boone 12-7 I think this was the score but nontheless it was close. Daniel Boone and THS 54-7 no contest. Elizabethton and East don't remember the score but it was close and Elizabethton would have won if they would have kept running the ball in between the tackles and instead of trying to pass and throwing ints. Elizabethton and THS 35-3 no contest. So hear me out my theory is and I know people in bluff city don't want to hear thiis and probably won't be able to understand this theory but it seems to me just watching and analyzing these scores with common sense. East struggled with the same opponents that THS blew out. here's the equation: Struggle(to the third power) (THS)= THS BLOW OUT over East. East's offensive and defensive lines could not stand up to THS's offensive and defensive lines and if you think I'm wrong look at how much THS rushed the ball for and look at how much total offense East had. I believe East had 59 total yards. So bottom line is that East did the best they could. I was pulling for east in that game so I'm not one of those biased THS fans that' s running off at the mouth on here all the time but to me this is the truth.

Will South show up or will they get scared and get beat? What do ya'll think out there? I have alot of love for anybody who tries to beat THS but Rebels I think you will loose this one again.

East has been preparing for this and will still be on top of there game to run and throw all over the cyclones. The cyclones were not smart enough the first time to keep running the ball and tried to throw the ball more than they should have and that cost them the game. I don't think they have gotten any smarter and with or without Eads the Patriot Pride that Coach Nelson has talked will shine through. Patriot Nation 28 - the cyclones 10.

All you ths fans, players, students, parents and whoever else could wake up on saturday with some problems. with the headlines reading BAM EADES EXPLODES ON THS! Cause East is going to roll.

Yeh! They probably will meet east for a second time and east's great passing attack will show the vikings something they haven't seen a whole lot of this year. I don't know if tennessee high secondary can hold up. I live around east and have followed them for years and i know that some of the old east coaches are coaching at tennessee high now and that gives east another advantage having them on staff.

I thought this thread was about if tennessee high is for real and the answer is no. They haven't played anybody and sullivan east is a prime suspect to make the big upset. I'm sure that coach nelson and the boys are cooking up something good for tennessee high. Coach nelson and his staff are the best coaching staff east has ever had and it shows. Everybody thought the Coach white's staff was good but they didn't have it, finally east has a coaching staff that knows football and it will pay off. I've always known that it wasn't the kids at east it had to be the coaching.
