well, that was just a select few people from cloudland... i dont think they are all like that and there are many people from cloudland that i really respect. i went down to murfreesboro to support them when they played the the state championship. i have always pulled for them when hampton is not playing them, and many of their fans do the same for us... i really dont care much for the coach gary keith after what he did to one of our men running the video last year when they didnt let him in the press box, but all in all cloudland is alright in my book.

i think jo byrns might be up there in the top 4 possibly and i dont know about trousdale i think they might have lost alot... i'm pretty sure jo byrns has alot of starters returning this season...

i agree that unaka has made improvements, i seen them schrimmage hv, i didnt really think they looked as great as you say, a little better maybe... i think it was more of you all being really bad and it just made them look a little better. i have a little more respect for them since donald ensor is the head coach... it was pretty much a joke with acey ensor coaching up there. and i also think unaka had more problems than just thier offensive coordinator, they'll do alright this year but it will take some time for them to compete with cloudland, hampton, and happy valley year in and year out...

i also hope that hampton one day gets a football program as successful as unaka's...

i dont ever recall saying that we shouldnt have ever been 2a, the numbers dont lie. i dont remember anyone from hampton complaining or making excuses for losses. it wasent fun but i never said we shouldnt have been 2a and i never heard anyone saying that other teams didnt work hard that beat us (like you said about us). this years team and last years team would be successful playing most 2a schools anyway...

well, last time they took the count we had few enough students to drop down to 1a... it dosent matter if we have 480 now as long as we met the requirement when they took the count last. as for hampton not working hard to go out there and win, ummm how many practices of hamptons have you attended and how do you know that they dont work hard? and in 2009 we may move back to 2a but we will still be beating youall by 3 or more touchdowns year in and year out...

go cry to the TSSAA, i love how everybody makes excuses when they arent good enough to beat the best instead of working hard and going out there and winning.

i'd have to agree with you Lord Vader, except jody lowe from cosby would start over any of hamptons corners i think, besides that i dont see any other players in the conference being better than hamptons. i dont know what kind of lb's other teams have yet tho, BUT the season hasent started yet... lunsford will be the best qb in the conference this yr. i've seen him play in the passing league, he looked excellent every night and he's only a junior, he is much improved...

yes i was impressed with how "big roop" was kinda light on his feet last season, he should make a big impact this season he has gotten stronger, quicker and a little more experienced..i expect a pretty good junior season out of roop.

dont know about them both being faster than townsend, townsend has slimmed down and got much quicker, he has been working hard over the summer... i hear the jody lowe kid is supposed to be very good, what position does he play on the offensive side of the ball? some say there is a good chance that he will be on the all state team at the end of the year as a corner, it will be nice to see another player from the mec standing out in the state... good luck and beat unaka

i think there is a good chance that both michael lunceford and jonathan lyons will both step up this year... lunceford has been doing an excellent job of throwing the ball and is much improved. lyons also looked really good in the passing league....

yes they definately need to pass the ball, thats the difference between us and teams in west tn (the passing game)... like someone said on another post even if they are killing them atleast leave the line in...

yea he is a very tough kid, and a very hard worker... i believe he has inspired the rest of the team with his hard work and will to win and everyone is fired up for this season, i know i am
