WH lost to Wilson Central 5 -1. It was Pospisil that got the only goal (PK) against Central. I'll have to find out who scored against Rossview because I can't remember. Man I'm gettin' old /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> I asked tonight while we were playing Cheatham County and it was Denning who scored the only goal versus Rossview. Tonight, the Lady Devils lost to Cheatham Co. by the score of 1-2. WH went up early with a goal from Armstrong from the right side. Cheatham got a goal (PK) for a handball in the box late in the first half. Remained tied until close to midway through the second half and Cheatham picked up their second and winning goal.

I'm thinking about coming to the Brier tomorrow night. If I can get out of moving furniture I'd love to watch this game. I keep reading about Greenbrier being much improved from last year, which is scary after how close the game was at your place. I also keep hearing about this Tate (can't remember his first name) possibly being better than Golden. Wouldn't mind seeing that either. My biggest problem would be forcing something GREEN over my head.... /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> Good luck tomorrow night Greenbrier !!!!

I grew up in H-ville. Lived there for about 17 years, got married and moved to the House. My folks also still live in H-ville. My daughter wasn't playing for the high school team 3 years ago but I hope you had a nice experience while you were here. The support for soccer here in the community continues to grow but still has a lot of ground to make up to catch up with programs such as ND. Thanks for the compliment on the field. Both our coaches take great pride in keeping the field one of the best, if not the best, in the area. Good luck to ND as well.

Both teams looked very good, but Gallatin was just too strong. WH made improvements from their first scrimmage.

Does sound odd.... I'll try it this way. With WH's first team and early subs, they controlled the game. Once they started playing the younger players, and there are a bunch of them, DCA took advantage and scored. DCA didn't have many subs, so WH's young players faced the DCA starters. Suppose you had to be there to understand. Not entirely true, but pretty darn close !!!!

DCA won 5 or 6 to 1. White House was down 3-0 at the end of the first half, but held their own when the starters and early subs were in the game. Same for the second half. WH controlled most of the night, but youth finally caught up to them. Coach played everyone that was dressed best I could tell and played two different keepers. Armstrong had the only WH goal. They have another tough test against Gallatin Thursday night @ 7:00. Good luck girls !!!

Are the stands on the visitor’s side seriously not going to be available August 29th ???? Are they going to bring in temporary bleachers? If there aren't going to be any bleachers for the visiting fans, Portland will add a new level to "Homefield Advantage"...

That was the story I heard. I sure hope he gets into school and gets those grades straightened out so he can play next year. But most importantly, I hope he gets that college education that will be with him throughout his life.

Well at least we put the bathrooms close to the visitor section... /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> The sound system ain't a whole lot better on the home side, trust me. With the Blue Devils and the Patriots sharing the field, you'd think they could spring for better sound equipment. Greenbrier has really made their place impressive. It's an awesome place to watch quality football !!

Yes we did. The person in the crew that owns the equipment must have had other obligations to arise and hasn't had a chance to burn it to the DVD yet. He does travel quite a bit. It was recorded though and hopefully will air in the near future.

I believe the tripping attempt failed, so no she didn't get hurt. TJ Smith is definitely someone a defense has to keep tabs on. He had too many open looks from outside and appears to be a pure shooter. LA went 8-19 from the 3-point line where WH went 1-9. Overall shooting percentage inside the arch was higher for WH and had more points from the free throw line. Great shooting by LA from 3 and poor shooting by WH from the same line was the biggest difference in the game. Again, I wish LA luck Monday night at home. I like your chances much better in advancing to the Boro, but didn't think much of our chances last year facing East Ridge and look where we ended up.

Apparently you didn't notice it was one of your own that brought the incident up in the first place. Undercut the big man and you will get fallen on. I watched that one play three or four times last night when I got home and Gaines was clearly undercut. I believe that is one of the plays you are referring to..??

Not sure why it happened. Maybe got dizzy from all the backflips and ended up in the wrong huddle? I know I'd be dizzy and no clue where I was after all those flips (which I can't do by the way). But a mistake shouldn't make someone want to trip you in the middle of a flip and possibly cause severe injury or cuss you out when you get done. Just thought it was uncalled for but wasn't going to bring it up because this is a basketball thread, then wildcat324 mentioned it.

Wasn't going to say anything about this but since you brought it up ........ It takes a mighty big boy cheerleader to try and trip a girl tumbling, then to cuss her out. Something you should all be very proud of !!!! If that is what hogeye is all about, you can keep it ..... Congrats to the LA basketball team in a very well played game last night. Very impressive and I can see them winning a few more games. I wish them well Monday night.

If Upperman had quit fouling, White House would have quit shooting free throws. Plain and simple!!!! Don't go blaming the Bee's lose on the officiating, that is a lame excuse. Just accept the lose and move along. As far as bias comments from fans, that's the way it's supposed to be right? I wouldn't expect LA fans to offer anything short of a bias, we're going to win and here's why, opinion. Pointing out White House fans are bias toward their team is a complete TRUTH !!!! LA fans believe they are unbeatable because of certain factors, just like the White House fans believe they are unbeatable because of certain factors. Why posters get so upset because a White House fan predicts WH will win by 10 and points out the reason why is beyond me. I read how someone is crazy to think their team will win, only to follow that up with a bias opinion as to why that is incorrect and that their team will win. Being a bias fan is what make you a TRUE fan !!!!!

I respected all the points made by the LA fans up to this post with you calling White House players names. That is totally uncalled for and basically causes me lose some respect for the schools fan base. I'm thinking you are probably just a kid and don't know any better. Talk about the game, make your predictions but leave the name calling for your elementary classmates.....
