Yes, he could. We also had the "hands" that could catch it. We were pretty well-rounded that year. If the passing game fell, we had the ground game to punch it through. Good times for us back then.

I don't know about the "speedo" but I'm always going to be a model. King, to answer your question. I'm like most others on here, I'm bumfuzzled with what's happened up to this point. I'm seeing things that I never thought I would see with an Oneida team. Sure, this team has my support just like all the others before and the ones to come, but when you see a team that has no heart/desire/leaders etc., there isn't much to say. I'm on the outside looking in and this is what I see, IMO. Maybe it will get better but I fear it's too late....

We are 9 games in and we still haven't played to the capabilities that this team can. I'm just at a loss for words....on paper it looks like Harriman just whipped us all over the field and the scoreboard agrees! I just can't comprehend what is going on.

Coalfield will have to do what Harriman did...put 6 defensive lineman down on the line and dare you to throw it.

And some interesting news. It appears the football game will not be broadcasted on the local radio by OHS Indian Radio on WBNT FM. Midway wanted a monetary donation in order to be able to get the hookup. How ridiculous is that? Make that green "wave" bye-bye tonight boys!

Heart...You gotta have HEART!!!! I was hoping it wasn't the reason for the short falls thus far but apparently it is. I hope somebody steps up and takes pride in wearing the uniforms.
