  1. Go Chiefs and to whoever in the heck is playing the mighty ole Dobyns Bennett Indians!
  2. Falconpride05, there is no reason to release all of that built-up anger of getting dominated by the Chiefs (in both sports) on me. I was just trying to make a couple of statements. And to the Vol. fan who said something about playing in the Watauga Conf. The Watauga Conf..... enough said. November 30th... we will see. I just don't understand the reasoning behind why Vol. is going to dominate CHS this year. If you couldn't sweep them last year with who you all had, there is no way that you all can even half-way match up this year. You'll see in a month or see, and all you fans up in Surg. and CH will be eating your words as usual. And to the team I saw of Vol. this summer with Mr. Lindholm that wasn't very impressive, I can only imagine what you all look like without him.
  3. Little Roark, I'll ask bro about his girl. Ha. I saw Cloudland play this year. They played my old high school. My brother said that u all should have no problem. I don't know what you all have, but Cloudland definitely isn't what they used to be. You must do a little more that stand around and watch to be Mr. Prep Extra of the Week nominee their wildcat! To tell you the truth, you are my role model. Ha.
  4. GLee, I don't know much about you all except from all the hear say. I do know that you all have an outstanding defense. I don't know much about the offense. Have you seen us play this year? The bad thing about the weather is that Cher doesn't have its usual big lineman and strong backfield. They are more wide-open with a strong-armed qb and some decent wide-outs. The rain will not be a good thing for the chief offense. But I think that despite the loss of Cher best defensive player, the def. will play good. It will be a good one to watch, that's for sure. Go Chiefs!
  5. Yeah, Mr. Bean...if DB is that good then where are all of the State Championship banners at. I mean with all of the so-called D1 caliber athletes that you are saying come through the halls of DB every year, then explain to me why they choke every single year. In both sports... if you want to get down to it. Another fact, Mr. Know it all, DB has around 2500 students to deal with compared to Cher 1000. That has alot to do with it. A little history, Cherokee's football program has gone just as far in the playoffs as good ole mighty Dobyns Bennett. The state semifinals, buddy. In the middle 90's, look it up. And to the Cher athlete who supposedly can't spell. 1.) Don't say something that you don't even know anything about b/c that is very far from the truth and 2.) I'd rather take spelling classes that be in jail like the great wideout from Kingsport. I graduated a couple of years ago. Played on a 8-2 regular season team, got beat by a very good Betsy team in the playoffs.... the same year that the undefeated and supposedly state championship bound DB got beat in the first round of the playoffs!
  6. Boxn1, thanks for the info. The Mcbee comment was a little joke. Chase is my roomate at college. You are definitely right, though. Skyler is the real deal. He played pickup ball with Chase and some of his friends this summer and he was keeping his own. He is going to be something to watch, on the court and on the gridiron. He broke his ankle though, but he should be back by bball season.
  7. By the way, I did see your team play a couple of times this summer and to be honest I wasn't very impressed. Not being a smart-ellic, but I just want you all to explain your reasoning on why Vol. is going to be so good this year.
  8. GLee, it will be a very good game. My little brother who plays for Cher. has talked to his good friend from Betsy, Levi Hooten. The both agree that it will be a very close game and they think that it will be low scoring. I feel the same. You? By the way Mr. Bean... you say you don't have any respect for Cher., well I don't have much for DB and Coach Clark and the entire program who lets the so-called best wideout in East Tn come back on the team after his 'little' run-ins with the law. Nice program you guys are running up there.
  9. Chparent... the Chiefs will get by the Cyclones. Are you coming down to cheer on a real team. If not then we will see you in a month or so on the hardwood dominating as usual. P.S. Nice haircut comment
  10. To the fans of Maryville and TH.... I would first worry about your teams first 3 games. It would be sad to see that you all have wasted all of this time trash talking each other and the two teams don't even get to play each other. Word to the wise... the two aren't as good as you all say they are either.
  11. Hey Ro, stop with the trash talking...do it on the field little man. Thanks for the info on the big brother as well... I heard he was a beast. Ha!Ha! I heard a rumor that he was playing ball at CN... I guess that wasn't true. Whatever happened to his girlfriend who played bball at Oneida, Amanda Jackson?
  12. Well, Mr. Bean, I see that you must not know much about NE Tenn football if you are saying that the Mountain Lakes Conference is week. If this is so, then good ole Region 1 should pull a sweep on Friday, but both you and I know that Cherokee's conference might just win 3 of the 4 games and dominate Region 1 for the first time in a long time. As for coming to DB and watching their recently parolled wide receiver... I think I will pass. Anyways coming to watch DB has nothing to do with Cherokee, if you haven't checked lately the two aren't even in the same classification. If you are so football savvy like you think you are then you should know that High School FB schedules are on a 2 year system, so good 'ole Mikey Sivert didn't have much of a choice on this years non-conference schedule. These teams were designed for last years team which was much weaker. So your argument there isn't working either. I like the little brother comment as well as the gap toothed one as well. You must be a fan to know so much. That's a compliment to everyone in Rogersville. Thanks Mr. Bean!
  13. Very true THSViking, both teams have improved and both teams shouldn't look ahead, but if they do meet in the quarterfinals, I do believe it will be a much better game.
  14. Volfalcons... I just want to know your reasoning behind those stupid predictions. Volunteer by 20 at home... come on. You know as good as anyone that this game is always close and that very seldom does one team or the other sweep the regular season meetings. Volunteer is very down while Cher. will be one of the best teams in the IMAC this year. Vol. doesn't have anyone that can stop Wynder inside or Richardson at the point. The falcons only hope migrated to Virginia because of god knows why.
  15. Oneida's Roark kid is nominated for Knoxville's prep extra player of the week... Never seen you all play, but have seen Cloudland. Nothing much to worry about... Oneida by a couple of TDs. Is the Roark kid good... I heard his older bro plays ball at Carson Newman. True?
