I'm just gonna give a few opinions... 130- Haynes (tn) vs. Felty (Boone) I believe that Beamer is going 160 so 152- Hopefully I'll get a chance at Mcmakin 160- Cornette vs. Beamer...maybe?? 171- Chizmar (ELiz) no others stand out the rest looks good...

If we can pull off something tomorrow night then you guys will wrestle us. If we can actually bring a full team down to DB then we might have a chance. Maybe we can play our cards right and pull off an upset. I'm just glad to know that TN High is back in the mix of things and not just another team to overlook...

I really think its early to talk about state and really it's a little too early to talk about regions also...but just for fun I have a few out of Region 1...I think that Usary from Scince Hill will take 125, Van Horn from Morristown East is looking excellent at 145 (he may be able to pull it off), McMakin from DB is looking very impressive winning the GIT and getting second at McCallie...

just to add...Zack McMakin from DB beat O'Hearn 7-6 in OT...that was the finals of 152 at the GIT

i agree with cornett being able to win region relatively easy, about the 71 class i have not a clue. But we have this guy who was on jv last year Jordan Holyfield i think he could possibly be in the top four if he keeps it up...

well my coaches have this plan for me to stay at 152 becuase i can eat whatever and still make weight easily and we have this transfer from rock hill, nc and he is weighing in at 147-149 eatin like crap so thats what the plan is for now, it may change though..i'd really love for me and you to wrestle in the region finals..what do you think??? anyways is Mcmakin definetly goin 52 and beamer??? whats this about Jarret from boone beatin bowman???

I wrestled him in AAU last summer and beat him like 8-3 or something and then this year at the preseason we wrestled to a 1-0 decision it was my first match and i ditn wrestle like i should have i only took one shot but i guess i dont need to make excuses...but yeah he will be tough

Mcmakin will be at 152 but not until late in the season...

I can Drop to 140.1 so i'll be at 145 the whole year and haynes can go to like 126 something so he'll mast likely stay at 130...unless 140 looks easy and we can find someone to replace him at 130 then he may bump up to 140 so he doesn't have to cut weight.....who's gonna be tuff at 145, that you know of...

Seth, what was the lowest weight that you could possibly make?? no matter where you're at you should place so.....and right now where do you feel you have the best chance at???

Seth, this is mumpower from tn. high....if you looked at the preseason rankings you will see that Aaron O'hearn is holding on to the top spot at 152. Judging by the way you wrestled him last year at the Fandetti Brawl there is no reason why you shouldn't go 152. If i remeber correctly he beat you by 1, in one of the best matches that i have ever seen. If i had to guess you have probably been training very hard and i think that there is no reason you would place any lower than 2nd at state, and heck there is a very good possibility that you could beat him and win that son of a gun...just my opinion!!! And if you think about it 152 would be alot easier to make and you'd be alot healthier and stronger...

yes...god point, usary should be on his way, this year, to a state championship at 125...just wait and see...

D.B. and East have a chance to beat them this year, and Tennessee high is finding some tough guys to round out their lineup so it could be interesting....

for the first time in about 4 years tennessee high will have a full team every spot will be filled! some of these guys you've never heard about and im pretty sure, from experience, that they will make alot of noise this year.
