Ok I will give you a CLAP for the INT TD. I will also say TC is a good football program, but they are not any better then Gordonsville, FC, Etc. Here’s One to Ponder: Great Today Gone Tomorrow. No One and I mean No One is Unstoppable. Over- Confidence leads to Mistakes and Loses. Check the record books boys, it has happens Over & Over Again. That is why we have Cinderella Teams….dah!!!!!!!! Well looking back in the post...It was you I might add that started the trash talking...or excuse me sir bad mouthing us about trash talking. I have had kids that have played ball for Gordonsville since 2001 and believe me there has been alot of trash talkin on both sides. And in looking back I don't beleive I ever ran TC down I was commenting on your posts. I am sure everyone on here is proud to know that you never trash talked any players til they trash talked you or that you never got tackled or thumped around. You must be a football hero. PLEASE GET REAL!!!!!!!!!! As in all my post here's two words: GO TIGERS!!!!!

No I think not. I was only letting everyone know. Because there are people out there that like to WHINE. They will use any stupid excuse to bring down a player or team and not think twice about how many it hurts. I know this firsthand. Just let one of your children excel in a sport and one phone call to the right person by some angry or jealous parent can take the sparkle out of your child real quick. So put & keep the sparkles within your children not the air!!!!!!!!!

No my Team didn't get beat. As a matter of fact we are going to the second round. I was making this comment because I would hate to see a TEAM disqualified. I would hate it if the boys had to pay for someone else's mistake. Could you face your child knowing that that were knocked out of the playoffs because the school, booster club or other parents shoot some fireworks off to celebrate? I know as a parent I would hate to see the look on my childs face. I don't know if it is enforced or not I just wouldn't tkae a chance. Look at it this way: All of these BOYS & TEAMS have 3 Months of HARD WORK that could be shot down with a SPARKLE. So give me a Break!

I am just telling all the teams in the playoffs to be careful. I am sure someone will enforce it. Maybe the team that loses???????? Also the rule doesn't read on school ground. It reads in games. Take the rule how you want but I am sure someone will get in trouble.

It doesn't say anything about being on or off the field. It just says No Explosive devices shall be allowed in regular season or play-off games... TSSAA is vague on this one. My question to you is: Is it worth it to take a chance? I would hate to know that my team was disqualified over something so dumb.

Just to let everyone know it is a TSSAA Rule that NO EXPLOSIVE DEVICES are allowed in regular or playoff games. I would hate to see a team in the playoffs get disqualified over a few FIREWORKS. Don't even try it Someone will use it against you and call things unfair. I have read enough of these posts to know alot of people need a reason why there team loses. I would hate it to be over fireworks......

Next week they play Mt Juliet Christian....I don't see alot of mud tossin or smack talkin coming for this game. I think based on the 5, 000 + views this thread has gotten we are all going to be BORED. No worries there is always the PLAYOFFS.

I just remember playing DCA and that being a big game. So I wonder if they moved down in class. Of course now the kids go to G-ville and I didn't remember ever playing them back then. Thanks for the info.

That is right LET THEM PLAY..... If I remember correctly hasn't both teams moved around in Regions. Correct me if I am wrong, but when my son played for FC I don't remember playing the teams they are playing now.

I think you need to change to a SHEET ROCKER since you like throwing a BUNCH of MUD....... Can we hear about the Players from FC & TC. I am tired of the mud fights to be honest.
