I Don't trust McKenzie they gave the championship away last year an were clearly the better team
Actually we took it away but yes, on paper, they should have been the better team.

Definitely a must see game. Two great teams with tons of talent.
Fayetteville is a much better team this year than last year. They were able to slow McKenzie down last year but still lost.
McKenzie is loaded again, along with having home field advantage.
My prediction: Fayetteville 28 McKenzie 14
Best of luck to both teams. Our season ended early, but we will be back very soon.

This will be a great game between two hard nosed football teams. Clay has the manpower upfront to win this one again but will the game be too big for them. Time will tell. Gordonsville definitely looked the part last week as expected but some very questionable play calling when they had a chance to put us away. Will this game be too big for the new coach ?
Having seen both teams play now regardless of what happened in the first game, my prediction is this...
If #5 does not play...
Clay County 22
Gordonsville 21
or
If #5 plays...
Gordonsville 35
Clay County 21

Congrats to Gordy, excellent schemed defense to counter our offensive air assault. Must have watched how GA shut down my Vols.
Very proud of the grit our young Pirates showed tonight. After getting shell shocked early on, they gathered their composure and fought to the very end.
As us real Pirate fans stated all week, this was the year for Gordy to get the win. We knew we were outmatched physically. Next year could be similar to this year, just depends on how hard our boys hit the weight room and push themselves. We need some beef upfront to take that next step. If any of the rumors I’m hearing come true, watch out. My personal opinion is we are still another year away from something special.

SP has to feel pretty good that it's only 14-7 after the way it started.
Personally, I don't understand some things, but I'm just a fan.
Yes, we weathered the storm and the defense is finally getting a push.

We tried to tell everyone this week .

How does this post get 17 pages?? Does the second best team in Smith County think they can travel to SP and win?
They are very capable of leaving the PITT with a victory tonight. This is the year to get us with all those Seniors.

Best of luck to both teams tonight. McKenzie 48 Moore County 21

Would like to see Lake County win this game but I just don't see it happening. Closer than most expect though..

Traveling Tom did that stone man put a tarp on griders field? If he did our boys will not need extended cleats. Grider was always too lazy to put a tarp down to keep his field dry. Im not joking either.
Roy, who's going to keep Stone's balls dry tonight if that tarp didn't work ?

This monsoon is not good for the Pirates. If Gordonsville does ground and pound only could be a rough one.
That LODGE SKILLET TARP should take care of that issue.
