Farragut will take out their frustration over the West game on McMinn county. Farragut by 3 goals.

Farragut did not go undefeated in 2003 or 2004. 2003 lost three games and 2004 2 games

I think Bearden went 23-0 in 2002 on their way to an NSCAA National Championship.

Those Houston Teams were very,very good. I saw the finals in 2000 and in that game, Houston put on Clinic. That was some of the passing I have ever seen in person. That Bearden Team didn't stand a chance. I also watched the core of that team in D1 TSSA states that year with a completely different outcome. I have wonder about the extremes of the two games by essentially the same players with different coaches.

That a tough one. Lots of highly ranked teams as well as potential giant killers. I would say that even if some of these higher ranked teams are not in mid-year form, they will be lucky to get out of the tournament without a loss. I think Bearden went 0-3 last year. CBHS dominated everyone but Catholic in that one.

The Schedule is correct except for Farragut v. West game location. All games are at Bearden except Farragut/West and Gallatin/West. Farragut only has two games in the tournament. I would guess that this has something to do with TSSAA game/tournament counting and limitations therein.

I asked Coach Ashe and he said that the game is at Farragut. Sorry about the bad info on the schedule.

Yes , Knox West does have a tough schedule having 4 games in 6 days, and the Bearden schedule is not much better with 4 games in 5 days. Tough! and Very Tough!

For some strange reason, teams usually claim to be "National Champions" when polls rank them number one in the country at the end of the season that they played soccer. High School sports do not have true championships like some college or professional sports, just ranking in polls. Kinda like when they recruit football players and say that he is the number recruit in the nation, they don't mean that they had a competition for this title, just that some ranking organization said this person is the number one recruit. These coaches have also been named "Coach of the Year" by their peers. I don't know the number of time they have gotten the award, I am sure that it has been more than once. Unfortunately in these kinds of endeavors these are the metrics you have to work with.

This will be a good game. Bearden would be expected to win , but it will depend on implementing the adjustments that were made after the JP II game.

LC 2 Farragut 0

Chuck does not make many mistakes, but when he does they are big ones.

LC did have the wind to their backs for the game, but they surprised Catholic with their speed up top. I think that playing the Oak Ridge J.V. and then around and play a very good LC team was trouble under those conditions. LC could have gone up 3-0. Catholic will play much better against Farragut and will prevail 1-0.

You have posted a lot of information about Farragut Football in the past, but you play at West. Oooookay....

I think the reign is over. I believe Catholic will win and big.

I agree with that assessment. They are going to come to Bearden to play ball, and this will be a very close game.
