  1. You have lost it. Your ramblings are only bested by the past coach at Independence. I think it might be in your best intrest to retire from this board, as daily you make yourself look more and more like a fool. Good luck to Coach M at Centennial. Tough job in a tough region.
  2. I never said, and you will not find anywhere where I said that CF was a finalist for any job. I said is felt like he was a short timer in Cheatham County. I conjected that in my opinion he would be a finalist for the East Hickman job. I was mistaken. You on the other hand, make a daily quest to call out who you think may or may not be up for a job when in fact you have no idea. With Patterson leaving as AD at Cheatham (yes, I know) Finley is sure to be a short timer. Trust me. He may say one thing, he may stay another year, but, make no mistake, he is looking.
  3. Does CF know that one of his asst. coaches is posting so incesantly on here and making quite a butt of himself Josh?
  4. While all you say is I'm sure true, the fact remains that Cheatham County is once again facing the prospects of good people looking elsewhere. No doubt CF is now a short timer.
  5. No question however that CF wants out of Cheatham County. Unless my recollection fails me he is the lone survivor of the infamous supplement cutting wars, as far as head coaches go, from a few years ago, with TT and MW both leaving for greener pastures. CF has been sniffing around in for various jobs, but needs to continue to live close to Ashland City due to wifes job. He will look at Fairview, but also, I feel sure, realizes the stringent academic requirements of Williamson County that is heaped upon coaches. Wouldnt be surprised if he looks at Clarksville NW as well.
  6. I dont have to be ROYALty to know who the selection is. I have been wrong on nothing. I guessed at final interviews and missed one, but, geography, or rather lack of change of stink, caused my miss on that one. I know. You know. Rest is dog and pony show. Thats my PITCH
  7. Only question now is how many staff members will they let the new man have initially. Will he hire young guns are respected old veterans, or, a combination of both. Decision has been made. This weekend is a dog and pony show.
  8. Yes indeed, book it. Easy to be out of the running when you are not selected as a finalist. My earlier post, as stated, were guesses. Down to 4. ALL asst. coaches at present. No current or past HC's are in the running. Probably good. New program, eager young coach. And guess what. I know who!!
  9. I never said it they were published "in the times". Another, smarter person said that. What he didnt say is the goings on behind the scenes , which I did inform you of.
  10. You may not have interviewed CF, but he certainly interviewed you! He checked into it, on the sly, but wasnt gonna move. Thats the fact Only 1 choice out of the candidates, but in Hickman county, anything that can keep football screwed up..............ususally does!!
  11. CF, AC, MJ, TK, and several local and farther away asst. coaches. And,................thats the facts. Top 3, my guess would be MJ, AC, and TK
  12. Thats ashamed. I have some intersting info for you that I think might shed some light on to the situation at Lincoln County.
  13. Big County, do you have Yahoo messenger? If so whats you id? Lets put our heads together!!
  14. Yes we do, disagree that is. DT has long been the fair haired child in Lincoln. Job was his the first time King Louie announced his retirement. Nothing has changed. Could he go to Lewisburg? Maybe, but, as the Bear said....one day....Mama will call.
  15. DT is the next head coach at Lincoln County, thats why he will not make the move to L'burg. Also why L'burg, if they truly want someone for the long haul, will not pursue coaches who have thier eyes set elsewhere. Ask Giles County, and very, very soon, BGA about that mistake!!
  16. Many may be ruling out a certain individual a little to quickly. My information says that "out of state" candidates, namely one in particular, may have a very, very strong interest. Hint::(He has built or rebuilt several programs...........and ..........knows the situation at Lewisburg both from the outside looking in and the inside looking out. He has been "sniffing" around about the job....let us say. As you say.............only time will tell.
  17. Me thinks bulldog69 better update the resume!
  18. Maybe, but the question would then be, how many are qualified or never been a head coach. Most coaching jobs have large interest, until the applicants are weeded out based on experience, willingness to move to a certain area, past problems, and or how much, or little a job might pay. If my information is correct then Marshall County, lets us say, is not in the top bracket of paychecks in the middle tennessee area.
  19. Southside has faired over the year very poorly vs their middle TN competition. Poor poor coaching.
  20. KW and BS would could both do excellent jobs maybe. Always hard to forsee "fit" in a community or school. DT could also get a hard look, but again, depends on who is doing the looking. Several out of state folks that might take a gander and I would assume you are referring to TT or ELA. One has a reputation for rebuilding programs and one just has a reputation!! But, again, who know? The question will be answered soon Im sure, but it all depends on who pulls the trigger.
  21. WJ will in all likelyhood not be welcomed back to Wilson or Davidson County. Made a mess at both. Will have to look elsewhere. Politics run thick in any school situations, but ultimately, the recent happenings over the past 3 years or so at Lewisburg, had little to do with what people did to the Head Coaches, and much...much more about what the Head Coaches did to people. Old news. New news. Usually there is one person, two at most, who pulls the trigger on new hires. Find out who that is, and the Tigers will find their next HC.
  22. Very true. I think many in Lewisburg assume the talent level is a little more than it actually is............however.............there is certainly more than enough talent to win more than 3 games, challenge for the region title yearly, and advance to the 2nd round or further, on a annual basis.
  23. Many of the men you have mentioned have a limited proven track record....or none as all as head coaches. RC will take a look, as is his custom, but would take a big pay cut. WS maybe, but doubtful. CD has already been pegged as the new man at Page (at least in the rumor mill). TT having already been possibly could more quickly remedy what ails the Tigers, but, as you pointed out, would have to be persuaded. Wolverine will look, but, awaits "mamas" call. The DL connection has some merit, but....again....not neccessarily his cup of tea. Interesting dilema the Tigers have found themselves in. Poor pay, fair facilities, seemingly out of control parents, out of touch administration, good athetes, and.......................3 wins!
  24. Not sure WS or RC either want to sail on the somewhat choppy water of Lewisburg. Cant afford one, other has an easy region and cant really improve himself with the move. But...............give the all knowlegeable one a few days,,,,,,,,,and I will tell you who will!!
  25. The combined record of your "Great Coaches" last season was 14-19. Only one made the playoffs, one has never made the playoffs or had a winning record, one won only 1 game, and one has never coached a football game as a Head Coach. But, you will argue..............my point is made. I need not nor will reply to your answer.
