Hitting the N2O again Roger?

I really don't want to start the holy war again on whether huge score are sportsmanlike or not but I just saw this and thought it might add a little perspective: ****************************************************************** EARLSBORO, Okla. - The Hanna High School basketball team can take some consolation: It didn't get shut out. It did, however, lose 112-2 on Friday night to Earlsboro. "It was embarrassing to watch," Earlsboro coach Jim Walling told The Oklahoman. "But you can't just tell your kids not to score. I've been coaching 27 years and have never been involved in something like this." The Wildcats led 42-0 after one quarter and 73-2 at halftime. Walling pulled his starters in the second half, and game officials kept a running clock, stopping it only for free throws. Each player on Earlsboro's 10-man boys' roster scored. Seven players finished in double figures. ******************************************************************

It would be nice for me though! It would help with my nerves when I have to chat with people that are beneath me! Yes, I'm a DDS and ortho. I do play golf now. I work a little less than 3 days a week and make more than you because I worked hard in school for 4 years UG, 4 years dental school and then a residency program working 80 hour weeks for a couple of years. No one handed that to me. I bet I make 10 times more than you now and I work less than 3 days a week. Why? You whined your way into 3A and then your whined the ABC privates into 2A so you could return. More power to you. I call that 'power-whining'. I officially give the golden ball for power whining to .............. the Yellow Dodgers! Maybe one day, in possum holler, while your old and toofless, you may find yourself coming to the realization that you dodged competition. It's funny how things work nowadays ... no one wants to do the hard things in life ... like playing against foes that you don't want to play. Sleep easy tonight knowing that you dodged 'hard' teams. It doesn't matter to TC people though. They will stay true to the name "Yellow Dodgers" and move to another classification again. Things get tough ... they run. And for the running away ... that's how everyone outside of TC sees it. You guys need to take off the rose (err, yellow) colored glasses and see it too. See if Smith Co. will change names with you so you guys can be the Yellow Dodging Night Chickens ... now that would be an appropriate name. You couldn't hack the Nashville ABC schools ... simple as that. Go on believing TC moved for "gates". The rest of us (and I do mean everyone) know the real reason why you moved. So before you get off the high-horse, please make sure you talk down to someone that you can actually talk down to. I have not made an excuse for anything!" sic 'em jackets! ....bet your patients/partners will love to read this....

I agree mom. All jokes aside, good luck to both teams. I hope the game is clean, void of injury and disputes and produces a clear (and gracious) winner. EE-OUT!

Sounds to me like you are the one who is getting a little hot under the collar. I simply made a comment that no matter how educated, wealthy, good lookin you ( the collective you, not specifically you toof fairy) think you might be, there is always someone who is more so. My intent was simply to put a little perspective into this ya ya ya sh*t going back and forth over socio-economics. Then I went on to poke fun at myself with the "relative comment". I think we could all use a dose of humility. Now if that sounds like I'm irritated - so be it. I really couldn't care less.

This was my point exactly. Hartsville is a little unique in that it is the only school system in the county..... "small town..big program" "more" with "less" I didn't single out anybody - just wanted to make the distinction.

All of the school systems in Trousdale County usually win their respective regions...
