I NOTICED EVERY MILESTONE OR STAT ANNA SURPASSED WAS IN THE NEWSPAPER THROUGOUT THE SEASON, THEN YOU HAVE KAYLA WHO COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THAT, IT WAS THE GOLD BALL SHE WANTED AND MADE SURE SHE WORKED WITH HER TEAMMATES TO ACHIEVE THAT. THERE ARE MANY RECORDS AND MILESTONES KAYLA SURPASSED BUT NO ONE KNEW BECAUSE IT WAS NOT IMPORTANT!!!

If Gleason can't play defense, you are about the only person who thinks that. That's all I heard about the Gleason team is how other teams couldn't handle their defense. Apparently they played good enough defense to win....

Keep showing your ignorance.....you still have yet to explain to me how that validates why Gleason should not have won the Gold Ball! They played their game and won.

I don't care what kind of ball they play, they play to win and I thought that was the name of the game. Can't play "D"....what games did you watch last week? I have been reading these posts and I can't understand what the big fuss is about? I have yet to read a post that validates why Gleason should not have won...

Forrest has a great bunch of fans. Your support is awesome, and I know the ballteam is so appreciative. Gleason getting the win was great, but more importantly to me, as a Gleason fan was the receiving of such positive feedback and repect for our team and our Miss Basketball Finalist. I just want to say a big "THANK YOU" for the class you have shown, I acknowledge it and as a big Gleason fan, I have so much respect for Forrest and wish them the best in the future. Again, thank you to a classy bunch!

Gleason starts two seniors, one junior and two freshman. Let's see, the all-region team had three gleason players...so yeah that made up the all region team. I really don't know what your hang up is with Gleason. This team has earned the right to be where they are right now. I know the work that the coach and the players have put into getting to this point. I really don't like people making comments that they know nothing about.

I agree, it takes five on the court but it is an awesome asset to have KHUD on the floor as a Gleason Lady Bulldog! I am very grateful she is on team!!! I can say this, you take away Kayla's scoring and how many of those wins would we have had? Thanks for your post!

I am sorry Greenfieldfan, I know you have been a great supporter of Gleason Basketball but after the "showing" ya'll gave us on Saturday night, I can't be a fan of Greenfield's right now. Our girls were devastated by the loss, and to have to run by Greenfield fans and get taunted by them is going too far. I wish Greenfield could have suppported us on Saturday Night so there may have been a chance for two Weakley County teams to go to State but that wasn't the case. I know you are not included in this group, but for the most part I, along with other parents had their hearts broke to have to listen to their daughter's repeating things that were said to them.
