I want to start out first by saying congrats, to both teams! you both played very well this season! ok...my one "soap box comment". I don't think you can judge how "good" a player is by one game, especially when it is an off game; which from what i hear, is what it was for GB! i think that he must be something sepcial if he is "MR. Football" Congrats to GB....you guys went far this season! good luck next season. Congrats to Fulton!!! You guys orived that you CAN turn a season around, and you made it TWO back to back state championships! good job! good luck to ya'll next season! it's been a great season in football, no matter what region! lot's of suprises!!!!

The match up between Lenoir City and Scott Co. will not be much of a match up if LC preforms to the standards set by their coach. If those standards are reached, LC's JV should be able to finish out most of the fourth quarter. Although Scott Co. consist of many guards, LC's post player's are very skilled and should have no trouble on defense. Game tempo should not be an issue. Through out LC's pre season and season they have faced many situations like this and handled them well. The key to a victory will come down to rebounding, taking care of the ball, and young guys stepping up if some key player's are not preforming well. Watch out Scott County, LC is coming for you.

it "ain't" going to be easy playing the Bobcats. actually it will be easier to play a team than to beat them! it won't be easy to beat the bobcats, but remember bobcats, it won't be easy to beat fulton either!

ya know guys...ya can't change the sportsmanship of other people. While, according to they way you think, it may have been wrong, it was said and it can't be changed now. I wasn't at the game adn i didn't see the sign, and the ages of the people holding it and things like that, but kwalker like you said after the lc fulton gaem, people that do stuff like that aren't likely to be on here, and we aren't likely to change their ways. But back to the sports aspect of all of this, congrats to both teams.

i agree with msmoker21....you don't make it to state by looking past any of your opponents. i think some people may have accused fulton of that once before, and from what i can tell, by playing them twice this season, is that they don't "overlook" any of their opponents. they know their strengths and they know their weaknesses, which aren't many here in the later season. and the also know the strengths and weaknesses of their opponents. If they are strong in other team's weak spots, they know they have a chance. But don't ever kid yourself into thinking that you can win, b/c they think that you'llbe easy to beat, they know that every game will be a challenge. (i'm stickin up for fulton! who woulda thunk it???)

yeh i have a feeling that the game next friday will be a close game! i still hope, as much as i hate to say it, that fulton wins. (i'm in the same boat as roadrunner, i can't believe i'm saying that, but i really do mean it!)

i think fulton will win, although, anything can happen, and i think greebrier is a pretty equal team to fulton. so it could happen! but if fulton wins, it would make the lc panthers look better, from what i hear, so go fulton!

I hadn't heard anything about all of this until today, but it's amazing how god works! it's great to hear that she is doing better! and congrats to her on winning homecoming queen. that's great! we, in lenoir city, will continue praying for her recovery. It's amazing to see how...no matter where you're from and who you're for, when something like this happens, we can all come together. god bless!

YA'll did really well tonite. But ya'll played a good game once you got your momentum going. It...i'm sure is a hard loss for our boys. I know it is as a fan. but to my boys now....you guys have nothing to be ashamed of, you played great, and we're all proud of you. ya'll had a great season, and made it further than any of our teams have in a while. Ya'll tried really hard tonite, good job for not giving up. and as for our senoirs...it's been great watchin ya'll play for the past for years, and good luck to ya'll in the future. and for our boys that will be playin again next year....good luck to ya'll!!!!!!!!!! movin up to 4A!!!! No matter how the game went....PANTHERS STILL ROCK!!!!!!!

well i see what you're sayin, but i think our coaches know the best calls to make. they're smart guys, let'em do what they do best. but i definately agree that we gotta keep the ball away from fulton. but i think that's key in every game we've played this season. but yeh.....GO PANTHERS!!

HEy Rebel Thanks for the support! i'm glad you feel the same why i do about supporting our boys no matter what our early season looked like! I'm not saying we'll win, but friday will be a good game.

Well yea, there have to be some women that know about sports. Then there wouldn't be people cheerin at the games. lol! but yeh, i know i've been payin attention to HS football for as long as i can remember, and STATE is the biggest thing, and ya'll have achieved it. But i'm stickin to my guns and sayin it's gonna be a close and very interesting game on friday nite. But no matter what the outcome, i'll still have faith in our boys. We've made it so far, and nobody was expecting that out of our team. We've already proved something. but I still think we have a chance friday, and if i'm wrong, i can take the critisism. i think i spelled that wrong. but it should definately be a great game.

To Sulivan Players: I was at the game firday nite watching the panthers play. WHile it may not have been the game you guys had wished for..it was a good game. however, i'm sorry for you loss, and i wish ya'll the best of luck next season. And congrats on a great season!!!!!!

I have no doubt that Fulton isn't the same team we faced earlier this season, but we're not the same team that played you either! And while we are more known as a running game team, we do have passing game as well, well at least when cusick is playing the way he wants to. I think our coaches have noticed the change in ya'll's team, and i hope ya'll have noticed ours. I think it will be a good game, an exciting, and probably cold. i'm not making any score predictions, but i think the 30-33 prediction is closer to what really happen.

yeh i understand what ya'll are saying about Lenoir City gettin big heads after the win against fulton. Just because we caught the falcons sleepin, doesn't mean that we could beat any other team, not to mention beat the falcons again. While we expect fulton to be looking for revenge, to continue their season redemption, i think that LC wants the championship just as much, there for will be trying just as hard to prove that it wasn't a mistake that LC beat fulton in the first place. I think with the mid-season re-organization that went on in the Lc team, it has made them a stronger team. Boyd is doing great on D, and cusick is stepping up to the leadership of QB as a sophomore very well. i think both teams have an equal chance at the game friday, and i'll be there rooting on the panthers!
