  1. I got one thats bigger than both. Alcoa vs. Maryville
  2. NO! It will not be overturned end of story. Alcoa will have to play hard and if they dont do anything stupid they will win.
  3. We'll since we play McCallie we'll have to see. I can't wait.
  4. Maryville vs. Alcoa 2 State champs in the same county. Come on, it doesn't get much better than that. I expect 15,000 + people there.
  5. A player from Hopkinsville choked him and Brandon slapped his hands away and the ref took it as a punch. There was "home cooking" the whole game. The refs didn't even throw out the one who choked him.
  6. Hey now, Guzzo is a very tallented kicker and is alot better than last year along with the rest of the team. He might not get it into the endzone as much but he has a great kick with good hang time.
  7. I realize now that Brandon will most likely not be playing. The incident was not caught on tape.(wish it was) So basicly the "home-cooking" at the game in KY cost Alcoa of one of the star players. If a TSSAA official was there it would be a different story. Same if it was caught on tape. The refs at the game were awful. In the 2nd quater they told Alcoa to take of their gloves. The next series 3 players for Hopkinsville had them on. We told the ref and he did nothing. Same for calling back 3 50+ runs by Chris Shiverdecker back due to holding. Might I add that they threw the flag after he was in the end zone. The refs cheated period. I guess they were mad we killed one of KY best teams. I would call TSSAA and complain but then I relize it wouldn't do a thing because it took place in KY.
  8. 500 pounds is alot. But we have Cody Marsh a DT 5 foot 6 maybe 210 pounds that squats 715.
  9. It was an awsome night the game didnt get done till around 2. The game started about 11.
  10. Yeah, its hard to beleive but Alcoa still has a very strong run game that will be hard to stop. With 2 standout backs Dustin and Chris. I think Chris is going to suprise Maryville fans.
  11. Bart Hicks, James Stultz, and Logan Love all very good fullbacks at Alcoa. Hicks and Stultz are both Juniors. Love is a Senior.
  12. I think he will be missed more on defence at DE. Although Alcoa does have a very reliable backup in Bobby Keller. The D-Line will have to play extremly hard to make up for Brandon's quickness. My Prediction Alcoa- 34 Maryville- 21
  13. I see Alcoa winning in a close one.
  14. Randell Cobb (Alcoa) -qb Looks like Micheal Vick out there.
  15. Theres more on this in the Alcoa vs. Hopkinsville thread page 8-9.
  16. Amen!!!!! Another thing is that after they told us to take off our gloves we saw 3 people on their team with them on. We told the refs and they did nothing.
  17. Did you see the game. And the outrageous calls. I think if the refs are going to throw out 1 of the players fighting they need throw out both. Don't You? But since your from Kentucky I can see why you dont. Alcoa would have beatin Hoptown 60-0 if the refs called a fair game. But i guess 36-6 is still a win.
  18. Its still up in the air if Brandon can play next week. Alcoa will most definatly appeal. The game will be reviewed to see if it was unfair. The refs stunk and made calls that didnt happen. It looked more like cheating than making calls. Shiverdecker ended up with 3 long touchdown runs called back. Another thing is that the guy that started something with Brandon didn't even get ejected. What happend was that the guy messing with Brandon was holding him like 15 seconds (while there was and injured Alcoa player) after the whistle so Brandon pushed him off and the refs threw him out. I think it is very likey Brandon will play next week after TSSAA reviews the game.
