if anyone will remember i called this matchup in week 6. i played against a good midway bunch last year and they got almost everyone back this year. they got two good backs and they play phsical football. ive said all along this is a game i wouldnt miss. its big for hampton that they are at home, and if midway lost their qb thats even bigger. i promise it wont be a blow out. ive been watchin the state tourney for about ten years now, and one thing ive seen you gotta have a big man that can really play, and you dont got one. 6' ft wannamaker isnt gonna cut it. good luck though. i will say this much since cosby is gone you wont lose a game in the district.

well region 1 and 2 might be down for certain years, but the talent goes in spurts. for instance in 99 and 2000 cosby was state runner-up, 04 unaka wins state championship. an the other years in the early 2000's went to temple, which is region 3. so the east can play some good basketball too.

i beg the differ on this one, the best corner ive seen i quite a few years in region 1 is jody lowe. he had 7 picks as a freshman. teams DIDNOT throw on his side his junior and senior years. he ended up with 18 ints on a career. all-time record at cosby. i got quite a bit of action on my side of the field due to him lol.

This may be a lil off subject but this is for pujo. i said i was goin to come to the hampton game but i had to go watch my boys from Cosby play. disapointing season to say the least. all i have to say is Grace will be unreal in a year or two. they looked real good the other night. other than hampton the only one that COULD give midway a game is grace. they are very quick and have some good athletes. (to be honest im glad i didnt go all the way to roan mtn for that). but i do promise you this, ill be a jc campbell stadium in 3 weeks to watch a barnburner between two very good teams in Midway & Hampton.

it sounds like to me grace cant play tough football. if it was up to me id pull an old cloudland, go with the the jumbo. and im a WR so thats alot coming from me lol. just do what it takes, hit em hard in the mouth and they might lay down.

well ive got the upmost respect for both programs. the way i see it cloudland is still up and coming, while hampton is already at the top. big rivalry both will come out and play tough. i just might make it to this game, cosby plays all the way in knoxville (im in virginia) so cloudland isnt THAT far. i hope we win , and unaka wins also. nothin against jellico i respect them, but i pitty who goes to midway, im tellin you they got a squad this year. i predict them to go VERY deep, they got the talent and the experiance in the playoffs. but i just hope we get in no matter who we play.

IF cosby wins this game they're a shoe in the playoffs, that should be enough motivation to go into this game prepared and ready to give it all they got. even if a team gets blasted in the 1st round its better than sittin at the house. ive bein keepin up with cosby football for about 8 years, or since i was old enough to know what was goin on, an ive never seen this region so bumbled up going into the last week of the season. so if cosby does pull this one out, what does the standings look like then?

Im lil north of hampton but it sure is ugly in my neck of the woods. i know one thing i bet it dont rain as hard tonite as it did in 05 at hampton when we played up there, my goodness it was wet.

WOW, i couldnt sleep so i get on here to look around cause i didnt get a chance to get on here earlier today. i havent seen this much crap talk in a while. i mean me an jody arent even playing in this game and we're gettin called out on here bein called bench warmers lol. the way i see it is Hampton is 7-0 and Cosby is 2-5. All the odds are against Cosby in this one so if any of the players read this tomorrow at school (which everyone does) there isnt any pressure in this game just go out there and play like there isnt anything to lose( which there isnt). Remember you still have a chance to make the playoffs so go out there and get better guys. the way i see it is comes down to TURNOVERS. if cosby's streak of turning it over 5 times or more a game continues, forget about it bein close. if hampton turns it over alot this game could stay close. cosby will have to play great assignment football on D and execute big time on O. they cant let Hanpton get all kinds of momentum like rutledge got late in the 2nd quarter.its very hard to give a score on this game cause the last 2 years we were supposed to get blew out ( and we all know how that went). jus being rational..... /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" proove me wrong please Hampton-28 Cosby- 7

well we went 9-1 with the best record that school has ever seen. we had a chance to beat a team that went to the 4th round of the playoffs. on avg we scored 36 points a game an gave up 13 ( i think). umm.... yea id say we were pretty good last year, not great but good. to me thats fairly accurate. we didnt play no slouch team last year in the playoffs last year. you are goin to play the SAME midway team in the 3rd round this year, bank on it. and they wont be no push over either.

If Midway and Hampton played tonight who would win? id like to hear from an unbiased Oneida Really, cause they have seen them both this year.

This makes me wanna puke.Guys Cosby really did have a good football team last year. the reason we were at the house after round one was 9 turnovers( at least). thats not the so called SORRY coaches fault, that was my fault and the rest of my teammates. we wouldnt have beaten RBS with that many turnovers. Just a side note i know high scholl football pretty well and your goin to see the same GOOD Midway team that beat us last year in the 3rd round this year.That will be your 1st big test in the playoffs.
