cocke county has a pretty good gameplan on greeneville. i have seen them pratice. they know how greeneville plays. i do not see them playing any different styles of ball than they usually play. if they do it just makes cocke countys chances better. the way they play is the best they can play. it seems like other teams have trouble shooting in cocke countys gym. cocke county was not ready for greeneville at their first meet. they started out 13-0 greeneville. i am wrong every once in while(rare, very rare) i think it will be the biggest upset of the year in east tennessee. i bet there is not one person out there that thinks cocke county will win except me and every member on the cocke county team. cocke county wins in a buzzard beater at home. 58-56

cocke county dominated the whole game. it was never close. nick glenn penetrated all night. they tried to press but terence broke it all night by himself. everybody on the bench stepped up and played well. this is not the same team that lost 8 games in a row. they have put all of those losses behind them and are playing with a lot of confidence. nick glenn is going to be tough in a couple years. right now it is looking like we will play jeff again in the district tournament. if the same jeff team shows up cocke county has a lock of going to the region. i am anxious to see how cocke county plays with greeneville. not going by records, i think cocke county is the 2nd best team in the imac. the players for cocke county think they can beat greeneville. i think they can too. i am sure everybody will disagree but i believe it can be done. 2 more conference wins would be nice. maybe east or jeff can beat cherokee. if that happens there is a chance cocke county ties for 2nd. impressive win tonight ps. joel pasternak did not have 10 rebounds on my paper but it sounds good to me.

wow. what a win for cocke county tonight. Joe McGaha hit the shot of his life to beat Cherokee as the buzzard went off. it was a very good team effort. each person made big shot after big shot. blaine hartsell made 2 big threes in the 4th quarter. Terence Carmichael only had 1 assist to Joel Pasternak but it was probably one of the biggest assist all year. he also made 2 steals in the last minute of the game. travis kelley battled through and injury and made 2 big free throws and a huge rebound in the last minute. then cocke county tried to choke by giving up a 4 point lead but Joe McGaha's throat was clear. he made a huge clutch shot as the horn blew. Watch out Jeff. County. Cocke County is rolling.

after the game both book keepers counted up 2 less points for cocke county. there is no way they can change the game though. terence would have another free throw to tie the game. the whole game is different if cocke county has 2 less points. when the officials leave and say the ball game is over it is over. the book keeper missed 2 of travis kelleys free throws. our shot chart had him making 5 free throws but in the book he only had 3 in the last quarter. that one call was the only call we got. i think killion knew we was getting screwed so he helped us out in the end.

they will not be a 6 seed. they will win 3 more conference games before the tournament.

cocke countys leading scorer and rebounder, Terry Dailey is back on the team and will play next tuesday against Jeff. County. he is more experienced and will help the young team. he also makes the team have a little more depth. he might be the missing piece of the puzzle they have been looking for the last 2 or 3 games. i might be crazy but i actually think cocke county can compete with Greeneville come January 27 at cchs. cocke county is one of those teams that can sneak up and beat you. ask morristown west. it is almost like a different player steps up a level every game. cchs has 5 wins. i am predicting they win 6 of their last 10 games. i am also predicting they make it to the region tournament. i feel like cocke countys best games have not been played yet.

any win for cocke county is a big win. i dont know how in the world cocke county won against GP. everything was going against us. the refs called two technicals on us that should never had been called. one was on joe because he slapped the floor because he was mad at himself not at the referee. blaine got one because he made sure he got the rebound after he was fouled and the other guy wouldnt let go and fell down. it was a wild game. michael whitehead made a clutch 3 to tie the game up with a minute to go. with about 20 seconds left they call a foul on terence for breathing on him. gp made their 2 free throws. on the other end travis kelley gets fouled after getting the rebound and makes 2 clutch free throws to tie the game with 7 seconds to go. gp comes down and misses a runner with about 2 seconds left and carmichael gets fouled on the rebound as time goes out. he makes the free throw and the ball game is over. i dont know if i have ever seen a referee call a foul after time had went out against the home team. that is very rare. it was ugly but it is a win. cocke county knows how to play cherokee now. look for another win. they also got a chance to win next tuesday too against jeff. county. not too good but good enough to beat cocke county. cocke county is good enough to go to the finals of the district tournament but you never know if they will show up. they have their nights. cocke county is better than what their record is. they have a huge amount of potential.

what point did you cosby fans prove. i moved to cosby because my mom got a job at cosby. she did work for NGS. i did not go for extra playing time. i wasnt anygood anyway. what does it matter. i wouldnt be suprised to see cosby lose 3 of their next 6 games. pigeon forge Unaka and GP. they will at least lose one of them. i am a cosby fan. but when it comes to cocke county. i like cocke county better. if i went to the mo east and cosby game i would cheer for cosby. i was just trying to prove cosby is not as good as everybody thinks they are.

of course not. Greeneville is coached to well to get blown out by anybody. Coach Duncan is one of the best coaches in E tennessee. although it is one of the weaker greeneville teams you will see. they would play anybody in East Tennessee close.
