Very very few have...I think there's been two guys say they have. These two teams match up better than anyone other two teams that participated in the 4A playoffs. This is a true #1/#2 matchup....no BCS bullsnit!!!

Unless coacht told you directly NO trash talk, I think your ok with a lil, as long as it's football talk. I talked to him earlier today and I don't get that he wants us all to hold hands...just not go way out on a tangent talkin smack. Hey, that's what helped hillsboro. Usins up in the stands could see their QB, but our defensive linemen couldn't until he'd had time to slap hands with everyone on thhis line, plus their coaches and their backs...it was kinda comical for ahwile. Ok...who are you and what did you do with Raider?@!!

When I read "prepare, adapt and lasting succes"....my first line on this was gonna be"just like bear bryant". So funny to see we were thinking alike. Man, what an innovator!! Back in the 50's or 60's, Bear brought USC's big black fullback into Alalbama's all white locker room after USC thrashed them and told his whole team, "take a good look boys, this is what a football player is supposed to be." Can you imagine the looks on their faces? What a man!! Ok...off my bear bryant crimson soap box now...I'm not even a bama fan (yuck).

Sounds like a tough dude...kinda like Ray Lewis...not the biggest (and if you saw him on the street) not the most stand-outish kinda guy. But put pads on him and he's a beast. That's kinda like our two DE's....their taller though.

Oh...yep, he was quick alright. Billy williams was quick as a hick up too....I played against him every year I played. Had to defend him too...we got to be alright firends, but man I hated when Alcoa threw that fade route. Billy was indefensible. He was good as a runningback in midgets too.

Most championship games are close...but not all. This Mel team probably matches up as well with Maryville as anyone has all year (not saying much). If they play like Hillsboro, it'll go to the wire. If their as good as Peral Cohn in 97, we might be in trouble. I don't think their either, personally. We haven't seen them, so it will probably take us a qtr to settle in. They might even score first. If they wanna keep any lead, they better limit our offensive minutes on the filed and score quick and often. I worried leading up to a few games this year. I'm not worried this week.
