Who are you lvsoccer? What school do you go to? Just curios b/c you know a lot about stuff and most of it is true. That's funny and I didn't expect anyone to think the same as me about Oliver. Most people think she's awesome!!! I think that she's a good player maybe when she's having a great night. Behind closed doors she's not as great as people make her out to be.

I just want to clear this up w/ the both of you. She never through a chair at Peck nor Oliver. The chair was just thrown across the locker room away from all the players. And another thing is that there was no peephole. I swear... people are so stupid. There was an air conditioner up in the corner of her office which was also connected to the locker room. The insolation around it came undone. Besides even if it didn't then there was a HUGE cabinet right below it so there was no way that she could look through it. It is amazing how rumors get spread. The thing with Peck and Donaldson was that she kicked her out of weightlifting and the locker room and then didn't start her for the rest of the season for no reason. No one knew why but everyone was surprised that Peck didn't quit b/c what she put her through. I heard that she made Peck run for like 5 practices straight. Donaldson is a great coach but she is just very intense. It's just whether or not you can handle her or not and obviously Oliver couldn't.

I agree with you. She can be very out of control and jack up stupid shots. I was there watching the game and I thought that she almost shot them out of the game. If she would have kept shooting stupid shots then Shelbyville probably would have came back and won. She's gotta stay in control and realize when to shoot 3s and when not to. Her shot selection is horrible. I also agree w/ that Donaldson thing that happened 2 years ago. Donaldson didn't let her run wild and get away w/ stupid stuff so her dad went to the principal about it. I also heard that a lot of that stuff had to do with Kelci Peck too. I don't know exactly but I heard that Donaldson treated her bad or something like that. I think that if they control Oliver throughout the season w/ her shooting then they should be okay. I saw her get yelled at by some teammates at the game against Shelbyville for shooting stupid shots. If she's smart and shoots when she's on fire then and plays DEFENSE and boxes out then she could be a better player. She needs to work on her fundamental part of the game!!!

District 9-AAA has some good teams stepping up this year. Mt. Juliet, Wilson Central, and Smyrna should all be good. For Mt. Juliet- Clark, Hudson/ Wilson Central-Gassie / Smyrna- Peck, Oliver. Beech and Hendersonville are always strong and come ready to play. I hope to see some of these teams make it somewhere this year. Who do you think will win it all and what are the top players in this district?

I think that Alison is a great player as long as her team gives her the ball. If they don't feed the posts I think that they might be in trouble. Alison is a great scorer but she needs some help by her teammates. Nicole is also a good player but she needs to play some better defense. I speak for other girls (not me saying it). I hope Page does well this year and good luck to them. Alison can usually make things happen... you just gotta feed her the ball. I think that Alison and Nicole are the backbone of this team. I also think that for them to play well... the team needs to get on the same page about stuff.

I think that Smyrna Girls played ok in the game against Page. Kelci Peck shot the ball pretty well but I think Taylor Oliver had an off night. They didn't shoot free throws very well which is surprising. They ususally shoot the ball well. They need to start shooting the ball better if they want to give Mt. Juliet some competition. As long as they guard Clark, shoot the ball well, and don't make many turnovers I think it'll be pretty close game.

Smyrna Bulldogs have Emily Pollock coming up this year. She is the back up point guard for senior Brittany Boyd. I think Emily will be very good in the future. She is VERY fast and a good shooter from the outside. She always adds a spark when coming off the bench. She gonna be a great player the older she gets!!

I wish that the Bulldogs would have been hitting this game b/c then Shelbyville girls could have gotten it handin to them. Yeah Smyrna hasn't been that greaat in the past but this year and last they are pretty stacked. They all got girls that can shoot and they work extremly hard. I hope they do good this year. It would be nice for a different team make it somewhere instead of the usual Lady Golden Eagles. Good Luck Smyrna!! *** Smyrna's record is 3-0. They beat Riverdale in a Hall of Fame game and also beat Shelbyville in opener and then beat Page on the road. Maybe they will come up 5-0 next week when they play Antioch (home) and Lincoln County (away)

I think that Anne Marie is a good player but I think that she needs a better team around her to make them really have some success. I can't imagine how good she's going to be when she gets to be a senior. But if you put a good defensive player on her she can be stopped. I've seen it. She is a great player and works hard but she can also be stopped.... and so can many other great players out there. SHe's a good player and will go far. I think that sometimes she doesn't get the recognition that she should. Don't worry though because she will as she gets older. Good luck this season Riverdale!!!

Smyrna girls are comin' on pretty strong this year. Almost every girl on the team can shoot. If they "on" then you're in trouble. They can also run a team to death. I think that they've got potential this year as long as they stay healthy. Last year was their first year making it to the region in a LONG time. Can they do it again? They only lost one last year and have returning 4 starters. 3 starters are seniors and the other 2 are juniors. Kelci Peck, Brittany Boyd, and Lindsay Sanford are their Seniors who've been through so much with basketball. Taylor Oliver and Jessica Pollock are awesome juniors who've been playing together ever since they were little. They play great together. They also have some height this year with a transfer from Riverdale- Kimberly Palmer- 6'2. She also will see a lot of playing time and even battling for a starting position. The girls should be a surprise to some teams this year if they keep shootingand playing well. I think they'll be able to make it past the first round of the region this year. What do ya'll think? Smyrna Lady Bulldogs defeated Riverdale Lady Warriors. Kelci Peck led Smyrna with 24 points with Taylor Oliver adding 19. Anne Marie led the warriors with 20 points with Brittany Steen right behind her with 10.

I would have to say that i think who'll win the state this year would have to be Mt. Juliet or Wilson Central.
