Guyear and Muir are outstanding players and deserve every bit of the attention they get, but Marion is more than just them two. It takes nine. I think Lloyd, Morgan, Murphy ,Hill, Shadrick or whom ever is playing the other seven positions are just as important to Marion's success this year. Good luck to everyone this year.

Thank you canadian. I hope we can put it together and meet you guys again in the second round of the region. We have alot of work to do before that happens though. Dunlap will be strong and I do think that Shane will make a difference at the helm. I think Christian will be better and Hixson and Notre Dame will be down a little but will be tough. Bledsoe is better and you can never count out a Ted Ladd coached team up on the Mountain. This should be an interesting year. Already has been for me! LOL.

Marion wins easily. Had a lead as big as twenty something and ended up winning by twelve or fourteen. Good job guys. Keep playing hard and together and see how far you can go. Good luck tomorrow.

No, concentrating on basketball. I understand that but it would sure be nice if he would lace the old spikes up though.

Dont forget about Key and Henson. They will probably be two of their top pitchers along with Kilgore. Sequatchie will be tough.

Marion will win their share of games this year. Undefeated is hard for any team to do. Marion will be competitive and will be the team to beat again this year. With that said, Sequatchie will be better with Shane at the realm and Chattanooga Christian will be much improved. Good luck to Marion, go get the 4 peat.

Dang Roadwarrior, them books are paying off. Great quote and post. I agree it was a great game. Just for the record, it does not matter who has the most yards or first downs. It doesnt matter who has the biggest players or passing yards. All that matters is who comes out with the W and Marion did just that. Officiating is just part of the game and we know what it is like to go through a game where every thing seems to be going against you, but Marion was obviously the better team tonight for they came away with the W. Yes Boyd had a lot of turnovers but I did not see them fumble one time that a Marion player wasnt hitting them. Now lets go to Alcoa and get one more.

Honestly, yes because he never had it. If you have access to tape, watch it and you will see. It was not a catch. YOu guys played great though and we are glad to come out of there with the victory.

The play was right in front of me. The receiver never had control. If he had of caught it, it would of been a great catch. He bobbled and then kind of tossed it in front of him but never had control of it while the whole time he was running down the field.. There were questionable calls but you cant take this away from the boys from Marion.They played hard. Boyd seemed to have someone limping off on every play in the first half. Both teams played great. Boyd is a great team and a gracious host. I did think they would have more there in attendance though. Hold your heads up Boyd, keep playing hard Marion. One game at a time. Oh yeah, I told you we would win. Go Warriors.

I agree 100 %. Both of these programs should be proud of what they have accomplished. Having played Cannon, Smith, and York, I can tell you that what ever happened at the end of your game last week is just common for the region to our west. Smith Co. was a class act and great host. Cannon and York was something similar to what you witnessed. Good luck to both teams. Marion will win.
