Just let me set the record straight for these last two posters (Idiot South Fans) To start with DON'T ever try to put yourselves on any kind of even plain with Dobyns Bennett football. You know nothing about what DB can or can't do on the football field either past, present, or future. To remind everyone or your ignorance, every year the both of you (Volman & Compukestat) start running your mouth 2 months before the season starts about how great your team is and how bad your going to beat DB. And every year you lose and lose big. Last year you couldn't wait to get a piece of Maryville in the playoffs. I remember it well. You know nothing about Maryville or DB. Nothing. I don't know why you and a handful of Tennessee High fans think it is nessarry to come on CoachT to try and convince people that Maryville has been knocking you out of winning state championships when to my knowledge you have only made it far enough to even play Maryville "1" time each. It would take a fool to ever say you can or you will beat Maryville on the football field. That is true for ANY high school in the state. But I think DB in most years would play toe to toe with Maryville and be in the game in the final minutes with a chance to win. You can do score comparesons over the years to give you some ideal. Im not going to sugar coat it, this DB team of 2009 was the worst team we've had in the past 30 years and in some areas such as pride and dedication probably the worst in school history. And thats why the got beat so bad by Maryville. And yes help is on the way. We have some very fine players coming back Jr's, Soph's, & Frosh. I won't make any predictions about beating Maryville, Oak Ridge, Farragut etc. but I do believe we'll keep adding to our 17 yr. win streak over South and start a new 10 yr. win streak over Tennessee High. You are a real classy guy WACO not a problem with your opinions - it's your attitude By the way - my comments were for 1pitbullman not you I agree with alot of your comments (and one made by 1pitbullman), the middle school and the A/D A good feeder system is very important Alot of good atheletes are not playing because of this And the ones that do play are not ready for 6A football when they reach DB DB also neeeds a first class weight training program if they want to compete I also agree with the comments you made about the players attitude Not sure why the desire is not there every game DB sports are very important to the city and to the educational process at DB This seems to have been lost somewhere in the last few years Until the coaches get the support they need I don't know how all the problems can be fixed

#1- DB has no feeder program #2 - Go to the DB games and see the support #3 Look at the record compiled by GC, much better than a "good enough" coach You obviously do not go to any DB practices or you would know who the quality assistants are "buddy buddy " etc. What an idiot - sound a little jealous #4 Agree #5 Agree #6 Jealousy again? The coaching staff at DB put more time and effort in then any staff in the area. Sometimes football talent comes and goes in cycles. Obviously, DB is in a down cycle. It amazes me to read the posts by people who "think" they know football. Most of those who rip the DB program probably never wore the maroon and gray and if they did they should be ashamed This is high school football, and the players are kids. They do make mistakes, but this happens when you do not have a very talented team. I am sure their confidence is at zero. IN a couple of years when the talent is back, I quess the posts will be different. If you never put on the maroon and gray and left it all on the field for DB you ought to keep you mouth shut
