Coach Mac has righted the ship and could run the table to the playoffs.

Maplewood wins if Lipscomb can't control the line of scrimmage and gives up the big play. Lipscomb wins if they methodically churn out the yards and eat up the clock. Lipscombs line can push Maplewood back and Officer is running harder than ever. Bay bomber's big strike potential will serve us well tonite. Maplewood runs right at you and if the D-line gives they will be to the second level to quick to stop. I hope our new play "yellowblast poptop jugshake right" works tonite. It may be the constant that fires up the defense. Any body ready to talk about a 6 hour bus ride? Just sayin.

Sorry if someone from The Wood is injured; we're not exactly at full strength either but you must expect that this late in the year. Both teams are well coached and Tillman vs. Armstrong is a defensive matchup noone wants to think about. Talk about some legends! These two geniouses will play a chess match all night. The kicker will be Temple looking from above and relaying the winning play. My prediction is Jesse on 1 knee post game.

I will make no predictions on who will win the game BUT our coaches will have a gameplan together that if implimented will give us the best chance of victory. We can't match up athletically so we must be perfect in our exacution. Look for perfection to be the theme of this weeks preperation.

Not looking for tears. I know the history of your stadium, cause I'm from down there. I KNOW your tax dollars were spent to renovate this wonderful stadium for GCHS to use. 3-4 million of those tax dollars for GCHS's high school field. That's all I was saying. I wish we had that kind of support. Most players will never play in a stadium that nice so make sure your kids understand what community support means and how fortunate they are that their community supports them in that way. Lipscomb gets it's athletic financial support from the university. We get what they give us,period. We will never have a stadium that nice because the funding is not there, but we are thankful for the sacrifices of those that gave us what we do have.We think our field is 1st class. Just not in the league as yours. Your program's funding is seriously higher than our's though and that is a fact. No one does more with less than coach Mac.

HDIK, you know you can't start two topics on one thread. That will get confusing even for you. Hotty Firegirl, Quit giving the Tribute Squeezing Sponsers of Athletic Ambivalence any more fund raising ideas! I've been to Titan games cheaper than a high School playoff game. The students should have a discounted ticket, Period. Maplewood game will be a tough test for the Mustangs but we will be up to the task. Even with losing the lead with 39 seconds to go last night, no one but the coaches wife felt we were defeated.. We knew it was our night because the ribs and catfish had been so good at the hickory house. They wouldn't feed us that well, ask us to contribute to their economy, wish us well at the ticket gate, and then beat us would they? Everyone knew our Two Minute Offense works best with 39 seconds! If only the public scools knew (and would believe) what our program funding was, they would be proud their community supplied and funded this nice facilty. This stadium is one of the nicest in the state. The brick facade cost more than our entire stadium!

Oops, don't tell my wife but she married a country boy, born in the everglades of FL and raised on a farm in LC. I just don't brag about my country boy status like you do. You guys have been lickin' to many mineral blocks; leave them for the herefords. I was talking about the tips of the jugs were worn out from to much shaking, the sides were getting lumpy , and the artificially inserted contents were coming out. She just needs new ones. There is no shame in wearing out your jugs. You can ask any Lipscomb dad and he will tell you about his wife's worn out jugs. They have to be replaced occasionally with new ones. My wife is on her third jug this season. This time she got a big one. It's pretty bad when they only have one though. I liked it better when she had two. Lets talk about something meaningful. Whats on the menu at the smokehouse? Make sure its catfish and smoked porkchops, cause the bbq isnt great. Will we be eating with stainless or should we bring our silver? Does Purity sell their yellow milk there or should we bring our own empties? My wife was shaking her jug last week and her top flew off. She needs new jugs for this contest!

Here's the deal: All 6 O-linemen are seniors, Running back is a senior, Receivers are seniors, 3/4 of d-line and linebackers are seniors and entire def. backfield are ,you guessed it, SENIORS. Senior leadership will carry this team as far as they want to go. It has been mental lapses that have stalled this team every game, including some wins. They have improved, and I expect greatness the rest of the way.By the way, every player on the starting team has been in the program since at least 8th grade and most since 1st grade.

Looking forward to spending a little at the smokehouse to support the economy. Those turnip greens are best when eaten with a silver spoon.Your crow will be great shared with the entire town!

Lip Scum-that may be all the trash thats needed .

Macon county will bring the whole town,county to the Macadams turf friday night. The will come in buses, trucks, Harleys, tractors and whatever else it takes to get there. They will fill the visitors stands, then spill over to the home stands. They will come with thermuses of hot coffee, hot chocolate and other warm beverages. They will take over and chant long before the game begins. There boys will believe and be capable of playing hard. They know the history of Livingston academy and are ready for history to repeat itself. Watch out Lipscomb. Don't take this one lightly or you will gat burned.
