how are the owls looking and whose names will we be hearing a lot of?

ok whatever you say. I'm not going to fight you over it. LOL

OK, most of the time when you lose 25 seniors and return a couple, change coaches,, and start a senior qb that never started at the position until this year, you're talking about rebuilding. I don't think the fans expect much which means these guys should not have much pressure on them. It wouldn't shock me if Creech is the qb by mid year, especially if the Owls start slowly. I don't think other schools will think the Owls are down but they will be looking for payback for the last few years.

Although i would love to see the owls go 10-0 this season, losing a lot of talent, having a new coaching staff, on top of only having a couple of seniors, will make it challenging for us to win 4 or 5 games this season. I hope for the best. GO OWLS!

Wes Ritchey is a 6'3" junior with great hands. He will easily find a spot somewhere on the field, possibly at receiver in the upcoming season. Brynn Oliver is another good sized kid who could probably fit in at linebacker. Dillon Hood is a quick, strong lineman who would make a great contribution to the line on both sides of the ball. Can't wait to see what the Owls can do!

The Owls played very well Saturday night. Eric Greene will be unstoppable this season. WR's played well, as did Brady Reed. Once the Owls work out a few kinks (penalty to call back a TD and offsides on defense to give up a first down) I feel that we will have a great year! Go Owls!

Who stood out in today's scrimmage?

Who are the starting linemen as of now? The only returning linemen that come to mind are seniors Drew Elliot and Justin Jackson.

Being that last years o-line was made up of all seniors, how can you assume that we didn't lose any good linemen to ehhs? if i remember correctly, last years backup (if you could even call them that) only saw the field for the last couple of minutes of every game. (only if we were up 3 td's.) I'm sure monroe is wishing a couple of those boys didn't transfer.....

From what everyone is saying, it sounds like the owls are in trouble. How do you all think we will do in this upcoming season?
