Yea, McKRD, i got the lowdown from my son who watched it. he said both offenses were pretty weak. said our defense did well, but we're both a long way from what we were. missing those break out play makers on both teams. man, we'll take the W and be glad. I did want to point out that i didnt say the chargers were better than your rebels last year, i said you werent better than us. guess that's splitting hairs, but i meant the game was changed because of the injury in the beginning, so we didnt play the game we could have. hey, it's a tough sport and injuries happen. it's all history now - you guys got us. I always appreciate the good spirit many of your posters have - now this yahoo above who said our guy got run over... yea, whatever. Yaa-hoo...go westview. Seriously have no idea how it will turn out.

Seems to me the score could have been a lot worse if our quarterback had not gotten injured the first of the game and spent the first half in the locker room...but that's just my opinion. We'll never know, but what we know is you won. I just remember the refs were flag-happy that night - and there was alot of discussion about that and the fact that you guys were happy it turned out the way it did. Either way, you were lucky to get the win. I dont mind saying it now. You might be the better team this year, but you were not better than us last year - you beat us because our qb didnt play the first half and that's pretty much the way it falls out. I do wish you guys the best tonight - i hope every kid stays healthy and they have a great game, win or lose. Butchie....dont jump me for this post....it was a pucker factor of 15 last year during that entire game and you boys were glad to get out with the W. Rebels are always tough - no sense in me talking any smack...you won it the past several years.

you make a good point - they have a lot of good seniors who will be able to step up. they also lost the veteren center and kicker, and since coady loves special teams, he will work tirelessly to develop them. they will get there. we started slow a few years ago and did well.

it was like watching JV or a big middle school game. neither team was much punkin, but dresden gets the win. congrats to the lions.

you guys enjoy the goat. i will be out of town and cant make the game. pitiful game last night. i dont think dresden can be too happy about beating martin middle school. but hey, one in the W column is ok any way you can get it. pitiful game. i love my chargers, and would have liked it better if they showed up for the game. they got a lot of work to do and i am afraid it will be a long year. Coady has been running that up the middle play his entire career. the past 3 years his QB was a major passer and could also score on the run so coady had all the options he wanted. we dont have those options right now because this qb cannot pass and is not big enough to take the defensive guy down with him on the run. i am not being negative, it's just a fact and hopefully that will develope with experience and as the kid develops. we have rebuilding to do and coady is a smart coach. win or lose, go chargers.

been good man, real good. we may be in for a real interesting year. we lost some big talent. our qb better learn fast or the second string guy will be taking his place. 2ns stringer is a better passer, bigger, stronger, but a sophmore. i read you guys are going with luke. it will be a contest with dresden, and i always hate coming to McKenzie. Nothin personal!! We got it handed to us there 2 years ago, one of the worst games we ever played!!
