WELL rumn we dont have to make any excuses, if anyone was paying attention cross was throwing up in the garbage can while the game was being played, she was out the second quarter, point out blank LORETTO played a better ballgame, the refs called the game as they seen it and if u think LORETTO got good calls that didnt happen, LORETTO walked the walk but all u can do is talk, WHEN U BEAT A TEAM 3 TIMES IN A YEAR ITS WHAT WE CALL SKILL AND HEART and if u dont think thats right we play in the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME AT 7:00 AND YES PAGEMAN MAYBE WE CAN PLAY AGAIN IN THE REGIONAL 4 WINS HAS A GOOD RING TO IT. The girls in the north area played Monday night. The guys played Tuesday night. Do you know anything about how those games turned out? I know the winners advanced on to Thursday night, but I do not know who the winners were.

I am not sure what you are asking. If you are asking about the area tournament from the north, I am wondering the same thing. The sectionals have not taken place yet. The sectionals begin next week in M'boro. The area from south middle TN meets the are from north middle TN. If you here anything from the north area, please let me know. I am really curious as to which teams our teams will be meeting next week.

New Prospect defeated South Lawrence in semi final boys game as Summertown defeated Hickman Co. The SL and NP game was a pretty close game. The other one was not really close. South Lawrence defeated Hickman Co. in the consolation game while Summertown defeated New Prospect. All four teams will advance to sectionals which will be next week. Lewis Co. girls defeated SL while Summertown defeated NP. All four of these teams will also advance to sectionals.

I know the sectionals are next week. I want to know which four teams from the other area will be playing. I know Summertown, New Prospect, South Lawrence, and Hickman County are the teams from area 2. I am not sure whether area 1 has even played their area tournament or not yet.

I am very much in support of a middle school state tournament. I think the players need a goal to work toward. It could be set up to where very little if any school was missed. It could also be set up to where it did not interfere with high school tournaments or spring sports. To me, the week gap between season and area and between area and sectional is not necessary. We are wasting two weeks the way I see it. With planning, the difference in ability levels could be addressed by having various classes like high school does now. Not to mention, sports are not an area of life where everyone one is able to compete every year. This is why we describe sports with the word competive. People that expect their sports program to excel EVERY year need to wake up! Back to my original point, the athletes need a goal to work toward. They also need to be rewarded for their hard work throughout the season. About the principals, if it is the same everywhere else as it is at my school, the principal does well to know what season it is much less what is best for the athletes.

Has Area 1 of the small schools class had their area tournament yet? If not, when is it? I was wondering who the teams from Area 2 would be facing.

Does anyone know who won Summertown or Hickman County Girls Game? Do You Have Any Predictions on Boys or Girls Game Thursday?

I am assuming those thoughts are about the girls. From what I know of the teams, I agree with you. I am not only not counting Summertown out. I will be very surprised if they do not win it. New Prospect is missing a key player. I do not know alot about Lewis Co. I know Summertown has the upper hand when it comes to coaching. Do you know anything about which team is picked to win the guys?

What about Minor Hill? Did they drop out? Do you know? Are there no games on Monday, January 31st?

The brackets for the small school tournament will not be finalized until Sunday afternoon. The coaches meet then to discuss the upcoming tournament.
