Houston RB Lincoln Pare, Class 6A Mr. Football, commits to Arkansas State
"First, I would like to thank God because without him none of this is possible. I also would like to thank all of my family, my teammates, and my coaches for believing in me," Pare wrote. "I am very blessed to be in this position and I wanted to thank everyone who has helped me along the way. I am proud to announce that I am committing to Arkansas State University."
The 5-foot-9 running back is Houston's all-time and single-season rushing leader. He is also this year's Class 6A Mr. Football.
Pare came into the season without any FBS offers, but earned offers from Arkansas State and Navy during the season. He rushed for 2,804 yards and scored 38 total touchdowns.
He led Houston to its third semifinal appearance and first since 2001. The Mustangs fell 42-21 to Class 6A runner-up Ravenwood. Pare had 40 carries, 140 yards and a touchdown in that game.
Pare is the second Memphis-area preps prospect to commit to Arkansas State's 2020 class. Kirby's Corbet Mims, a three-star defensive lineman, is also committed to the Red Wolves.
That's about the level I figured he would roll with... Good for him and good luck to him.

32 Derrius Boddie jr RB So. 5-7 158 According to M A X P R E P S
In real life dude is 155 OR LESS... That's the guy that was given the ball on 4 and short (I think it was 3 yards) on a crucial drive to start the second half that was STOPPED... If that's not outright SABOTAGE IDK what is! Instead of giving it to the SR Sneed or the big backs we gave it to the lil dude like we were gonna trick Houston (YELLS MADLY) SMDH

if Houston had not dropped some passes early and had not had some drive killing penalties early, it might have been worse.
Possibly... had Whitehaven had not dropped some passes and not turned the ball over we'd still be playing football on Black Friday.

Still impressive Houston beating Whitehaven by 21 points. If they beat Ravenwood like that I will really be impressed.
I hope that you get a chance to see the film, otherwise trust me when I say 27-6 was misleading

This result was really surprising. I know how good Whitehaven is. Houston must have a great team.

I saw Coach Flowers at the game while leaving out and asked him when is he gonna come back and help our offense out. He just smiled and laughed but I think I saw a lil twinkle in his eye that gave me some hope lol... wishful thinking.
Only way he comes back is as the HC

All those so called D1 players on Whitehaven and not one showed up as an impact player. Big time players show up in big time games. Guess that wasn’t the case tonight. Good luck to Houston! Hope to see these guys in Cookeville.
