  1. http://www.parispi.net/articles/2010/04/15/news/local_news/doc4bc7a4f97d772978965560.txt Coach Counce is Henry County's Head Football Coach!
  2. If we chose someone from abroad, I would say Coach Creasy from Trousdale County. Runner up, Coach Ward from Camden. If we hire within, first choice Coach Hudson. Frankly, I think we will be just fine whoever we get. However, I do understand that the head can make the whole thing topple so hopefully, they will choose wisely.
  3. Anyone have directions to West Creek?
  4. Is there a chance of it being cancelled? What in the world are you talking about? They were calling for T-Storms earlier. Hoping to have the game today not tomorrow. Plus, gotta watch my Vols!!! GO BIG RED!!!
  5. Man, I hope the game won't be canceled til tomorrow. If that happens, I am hoping for a 9:30 kickoff!!! GO BIG RED!!!
  6. At least our stadium can accommodate the visiting fans.
  7. Henry County 42-North West 21!!! GO BIG RED!!!
  8. WHAT A GAME!!! Liberty came packin' some unexpected surprises. They are a GREAT team. I will have to agree with patriot04 except I think we need to look for quarterbacks to rotate a little more. McAdams and Craig should definitely get PT! Shonte can't be at a billion places at once. Let the guy get some rest! Anywho, Great game Patriots. Wished the fans were louder.
  9. I am extremely excited about this season!!! I think teams are going to underestimate us because of our two greats that we have lost. I always new that Shonte Sims was going to be the QB just didn't know when. Truthfully, I would rather have him at WR/S only because he is so DOMINANT at Safety and to have him now at the QB role might keep him from being on defense as much. He KNOWS how to lay the wood properly and he surely saved plenty of games for the Patriots. Remember the "Immaculate Takeaway" that upset Melrose in the Quarterfinals when he was a sophmore? We were going to LOSE! Instead, he read the snap count and jumped the line at the right time, spooked the QB, and took the ball from him and ran 40 something yards for the game winner! He will be a Legend here. McFerren III is also a great! He is so shifty and keeps his balance well, like a dancer. His brother also looks to be cut from the same tree. And then there's Shaquille Allen, Dominique's brother, who as a sophmore is looking to crush some skulls just like the "Bull" did for us! Skylar Haley, "Mr. Hands", makes his presence known several times a game with any pass thrown to him, offensively or defensively. Lineman have loads of experience and the D line has some rising talent. Rockeem Long has had quite a bit of PT last year is going to have a spectacular year! Not a really tall DL, but a bruiser none the less. Najee Ray will also be a great play maker. Neal Capps I have known for several years. We use to have him in pickup games when him and my brother were around 6,7,8 I don't remember. "Little Neal" always had spectacular plays then. I think I need to tell Coach Gaddis that he runs faster with his shoes off. I am hoping that our kickoff team is the same or as better than last year. Those boys could lay some licks on the opposing team. Hit them so hard, make their jerseys FADED! In closing, I'm looking to see the Patriots give us, the 12th man (RED SWARM), another awesome season! My prediction for tonight's slugfest is HC 35-L 10. This is based on Patriot Stadium and how it is made, the RED SWARM, and the intensity that both provide in the game. It seems to give a SHOCK effect to opposing teams and especially if that team hasn't been there in awhile. GO BIG RED!!! Also, my new Henry County ring is now available. I will be wearing it for sure at every game. I'm in the process of a website being established. It is made from Poplar and I can make any size. http://s753.photobucket.com/albums/xx18 ... y%20Rings/
