Since 1985, Dawgs went on the road and beat Knox Catholic to advance to the semis. Our seniors are gamers though. I don’t really worry about nerves with them honestly, but you’re right, essentially uncharted territory for Bulldog football. However three of our leaders were big parts of the state championship basketball team two years ago, so some of our kids have already played on bigger stages and won.
Thanks for the info, it does help a little, East Robertson is experiencing the same thing with guys getting experience on the big stage with basketball

How many teams has tyner played that could match up athlete for athlete? I can’t think of any besides Alcoa obviously.
Also a valid point

Question, this is the biggest football game in Clay Co since…? The nerves will be up for both teams but I would tend to lean to the team with the most experience.

As much as I’d like ER to shock the world and I hope they do to represent our region, Tyner will be way too much for them… I can guarantee East hasn’t seen an offense like this all year. Even though I think Tyner wins easy I think there’s something to be said for the season East has had this year. Congratulations to Brooks and the ER boys, heck of a year! I’ll be there, sadly rooting for the Ndiuns!!
This game will come down to if the Indian Defense can get some stops and maybe a couple turnovers. Tyner will be the 1st team ER has played this year that can match athlete for athlete, could be a good one.

To add alittle more about those early 2000s. Goodpasture had a run under former westmoreland head coach David Martin in which they won several titles and had 5 NFL players over the years. They was in westmorelands region. Satterfield didn’t want none!
That region back then was like 8-10 teams, it was a loaded region already, TC had plenty of good teams throughout those years as well, I grew up in the era when TC and Westy played in the jamboree every year, westy would win 7-0 and think they were world beaters then go 6-5 while TC went multiple rounds in the playoffs consistently, the new region should be more competitive and make teams earn a playoff spot

I had to do some research, but I finally have you nailed down. Was the Radio Assistant for TC and seen the writing on the wall. Left, but stated "he hopes to be back one day." I'm assuming one day will be when the Jacket's are good again? Fair Weather Radio Fella is what I should call you! JohnCena3:16 was correct about you.
Said radio fella has dreamed since he was little bitty to coach at Trousdale County, that dream hasn’t changed bud, granted that I’m a late bloomer and have 2 years left, but I took time away from radio for personal reasons, one of those is focusing more on school work so I can finish school quicker, the other reasons I stepped away had nothing to do with any of those kids/parents or the success we would or would not have. Just a normal dude chasing a dream.

Smith co will dominate that region next season with all the returners! It may very well be the year SC been looking for to win a state title without Alcoa to contend with. Heck, they may go to the championship this season. It pains me to say that because I’m not an SC lover by all means. Just know what kind of team they have coming back
If Fayetteville was not in the East, I would guarantee at least 1 state championship game appearance for Smith, but Fayetteville is really really good, and they are also young.

Could have done worse for sure, there’s always going to be some unlucky draws. I called TC in region 3, bunch of fun regions

The real possibility is for that TC, Smith, Westmoreland region to be region 3 and region 4 be Fayetteville, Forrest, Cannon, etc,...But that is a long shot
Boy did I call that!

To be a realistic TC fan just making the playoffs will be the goal. TC HAS 3-4 years before we can talk about competing. Gold ball. Am I in the wrong to feel this way?
I wouldn't say you are wrong to feel that way, keeping the playoff streak alive is very important to most TC folks, but the most important thing for the program is sustainable growth, the team got better this year from week 1 to week 12. I just hope we are able to utilize what we do have which isn't much. We all know the next heavy load of talent is coming in 2-3 years and at that point the window will be open for probably 5-8 years. Blake has his work cut out for him, will be a huge offseason for the jackets.

The Ram Train continues to roll. This team is on a mission to be at Finley come December. Smith County might be a thorn in Trousdales side the next couple of years but Fayetteville is gonna be the beast in the East. I can’t see them doing it but it’s a possibility that Fayetteville could end up in same region with Smith and TC. That would create a very hard region to get out of. Most likely Fayetteville will end up going more east in region 3. I’m just keeping it real
The real possibility is for that TC, Smith, Westmoreland region to be region 3 and region 4 be Fayetteville, Forrest, Cannon, etc,...But that is a long shot

I'm thinking before the 10th. That's why I asked Indian if he had heard anything.
It would be nice if they came out before tomorrow night so we could break them down on this weeks show

TSSAA is having the local meetings Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday so that makes sense to release them after that Thursday meeting on the 10th.
You are correct although they could release them before then but highly doubtful

Regions will be released no later than November 10th and schools will have until Nov 17th to appeal.

Not shade.. You threw the shade first at your hometown that you "Love".... You've done it every chance you have got this year.
If you say so, I could have buried them on several occasions but I didn’t, last weeks show listen to how I rave about Kobyn and even gave Blake, oh my bad… Coach Satterfield some recognition for changing it up when it mattered.

What are we ever going to do? If they play as many sports as you, that's a loss for us.
Even if my kids decide not to play sports, it would be a loss for TC, because they would be raised the way I was and would eat sleep breath Trousdale County. If you want to know what really has happened shoot me a dm on social media I’m not hard to find or just keep throwing that shade brother

This one should be a good one, if Gville doesn’t turn the ball over I believe this game will be really tight 7-10 points either way, if Gville does turn it over, SP wins by 14-20ish
-
Different week same story, ER athletes should be too much, 41-16 ER
