Tssaa are idiots. What else can anyone say? How they stay in power is beyond belief. If it was a normal business it would have went belly up years ago. 6 classes in the state the size of Tennessee plus the privates. I bet they cannot even balance their checkbooks at home.

If college cancels then high school is done. If half of college cancels then who knows. The superintendents of the schools don't even know.

Sullivan South is shut down for 2 weeks. With a covid case.

I hope teams do get to play but the more days that go by I don't think they will ever finish. Like Carter County has 4 high schools and one player tested positive during the dead period but yesterday they shut all sports down for 2 weeks. So my glass is half empty

Yes that would make it criminal If someone dies. Plus will be civil suits. If someone does that they are a complete idiot anyway. If you worked in the court system you would understand

If you hide the virus and let them play and they infect someone or probably more than one and they get it bad or die. Even Graham Clark knows that.

If the virus is being hidden then who ever is doing that could end up behind bars for life.

Idk if you all have kids. According to school only family members but I bet some will get in with no family. Politics is bad in the school system and whole city so we will see.

I am wondering if anyone with no kids that play or in band or cheer or sing will get tickets? Guess we will find out soon

I agree with JMorton on the band parents and have said that for years on here. I do not understand can someone help so EHS has 5 home games so no visitor fans will be allowed? Also EHS has 5 road games so can EHS fans go to them games and if so how do you pick who goes? This is not a political stance but I think Virginia got it right. Look at Greeneville and Johnson County in this area and the law of averages says that will happen with a lot of other teams. I disagree with a lot of what Doug Fritz writes but weeks ago he wrote football should go to spring and baseball should be played now and he was 100% right IMO. It looks like it will be a mess both with players and with fans. The TSSAA is awful idk how they keep getting by with their decisions a normal business would have went belly up years ago. I guess I will have to go watch Gate City or Virginia High or John Battle play come March. I cant go to an Elizabethton game ( and I agree with EHS decision on tickets). I hope WBEJ and /or Tom Taylor can still broadcast the games.

Plus you have the band parents and cheerleaders parents. As for elizabethton they could let the band play before the game then half the homeside leaves and they could let football fans in after that. As for road games I guess sale tickets early and ones that are left over it is first come first serve.

The Ivy league is not. The Pac 12 and Big 10 is conference only right now. Listen to the sec commissioner and he is not so certain. It is all talk right now but in a month I guess we will see. Like I said before just because you start does not mean you will finish.

Just because it starts does not mean it will finish. Look at what is going on in baseball with the Marlins. The way the cases are rising in my area I cannot see anyway that some school will not have to cancel or forfeit games.

Hughes is back for Elizabethton he will be a senior this year. First game last year Greeneville had a lead and passed on a field goal at end of half and ran a play and lost 15 yards. Then 2nd half ran same play 98% of time and Elizabethton beat them. 2nd game Elizabethton dominated after the first quarter
